Cardinals sign TE Maxx Williams on a 1 year deal

IMO it's probably an open competition for all the TEs. Clay has the most guaranteed money so he will have to suck bad not to make it.

I believe Clay only has 350k guaranteed, Maxx 250k, and Caleb Wilson 75k. I don't see any of these contracts being an issue.

A number one priority should be to extend his contract during this season.

I think both Clay and Williams are good. Clay just doesn't get the ball thrown to him as much.

Yep. Came to us with a solid reputation as a blocker with decent hands. He's been all of that & then some.
