Could be an opportunity for the new receivers to get reps with Kyler against another nfl defense. I don't see the down side with a controlled environment from 2 coaches who know each other well.

Last year's joint practices with Minnesota lead to Colt retiring and the Dobbs trade. More can definitely be learned about your team when practicing against another team, even when it's controlled.

Good squad to practice with...mostly because they are mid...
Go against a really good team and you can't tell if your guys are getting smoked because they suck or because they are facing well coached all pros...
The opposite with a really bad team..
A mid team let's you see battles that you can coach from for most positions

The Colts are going to be really good this year if Richardson is legit. They're supposed to have the best OL in the league and Steichen is a genius.
