They are trying their hardest to lose this game. It's all about this Redheads nonsense. When they do this, they're 2-4 and falling, I think. Getting blanked by Kyle freakin' Lohse.

Sure, Colorado lost, but I am not at all concerned with that team now.

That was a fantastic comeback. That Motte fresh meat was mowing the boys down, but Perez exemplified the weak St. Louis bullpen and could not hang on. Drew, Jackson and Dunn picked the right time to wake up. Qualls glided into another win. Whatever works! I hope this gives them the necessary momentum to go to LA with. I wish they didn't have a day off tomorrow, but this should give them serious confidence for the LA series. It's time for Haren, Webb and Johnson to get back to normal!

Dunn's numbers since he has got here are just awesome. Through 21 games now he is hitting .290 3HRs 14RBIs with an OBP over over .500....just gotta look past the strikeouts. Its amazing how much easier it is to score runs when there are people on base. (Its also helping that Drew is playing amazingly well during that same span).

Great win... Chris Young - 7 more men left on base... Uggghhhhh.... :bang:

Did you watch the game? Young had the bases loaded and Glaus made a great play. If the ball gets by him Young probably has 3 rbi's. It's not like he struck out, he hit the ball solid.

The guys win as a team, lose as a team. This was definitely a game that could get them going. I really like Eckstein at second. He might not be a flashy guy but he is gritty and gets the job done.

How great would a sweep by the Diamondbacks be in LA?

Hope we do sweep the dodgers in la because that would probally come close to locking up the divison :). It's going to be hard to do with the dodgers offense though but hey we do have our best pitchers going this series and they are due to start pitching like they should again. GO DBACKS

Was at the game today. I want to point something out that really irked me. Tracy singled in the 8th inning to lead it off. Melvin put Romero to pinch run. I am thinking to myself. "They are down by a run, BoMel is going to manufacture a run here." Romero never to more than 2 feet from the bag. Why would you take out you only player hitting that day in Tracy (3 for 3 and a HBP) so that your pinch runner never attempts to move up. Romero should have been off and running on the first pitch. I am not the only one talking about it either. Great win and great crowd for a early game, but watching this team is getting more frustrating by the day.

By the way, big props to Chip Hale for sending CoJack home on Dunn's hit.

The Manager waits for things to happen.

The 3rd base Coach (and former PCL Manager of the Year) makes things happen.

Hmmm. :bang:

And how many games has Chipper blown with crappy judgement calls on sending runners? Dozen or more??

So Chip Hale has been an award winning Manager and a marginal 3B Coach.

But what is he doing? Managing? No, coaching 3B. Hmmm.

Kirk Gibson is desperately needed to be our Hitting Instructor, but what is he doing? He's Melvin's administrative assistant on the bench. Hmmm.

Chris Young is totally screwed up at the plate because he spent the major part of the season as a homerun hitting/high strikeout leadoff hitter, having to be what he was not. Hmmm.

'Just a few examples of how the D'backs don't use people to their best advantage.

And, worst of all, a very inconsistent team led by a very inconsistent Manager.

And you're emphasizing Chip Hale, in his limited capacity, sending runners around 3B, trying to breath some life into the team to compensate for Melvin's passive behavior.

My goodness, man, let's look at the big picture.
