Oh well. Didn't think we'd go 15-1 and didn't think we'd win this one anyway. Still, it needs to be graded:

The Good

The Defense-Did all they could. They were all over the field in the first half. But 7 sacks overall. In the end they were simply gassed but they played well enough to win. They have really stepped it up the past few weeks.

CC-Special one for him as he was a beast today.

John Brown-This kid is looking more and more like a stud. His circus catch on 3rd and long should have shaken this team awake but sadly, it didn't.

Not much else good today.

The Bad

Play Calling-By about midway through the 3rd quarter I started getting the feeling that BA was calling this game as to not get anyone killed. The playcalling was so vanilla that I thought Whiz was still here.

Officiating-Once again, terrible. Saw several holds by Seattle's offensive line and they drew not one holding call.

Jaron Brown Drop-We're down 9-0. The offense finally puts together a drive. 3rd and goal. Stanton throws a dart to Jaron Brown and he flat out drops it. Score a TD there and we go into the locker room down 9-7. Instead it's 9-3 and the 2nd half offense disappears.

Ted Ginn-He;s so bad that when he takes a touchback it's the biggest gain he could ever hope for.

A Bad Loss-I don't mind losing but losing like this will only feed the naysayers.

Play Calling-I should put this under ugly but I don't know if it were BA's play calls or Stanton's inability to execute but there were several play calls that were head scratchers. For example, 1st and goal inside the 10 and the play calls were 1 yard out to Ja. Brown, 3 yard pass to Carlson down the middle, and the drop by Ja. Brown. There were several short yardage plays when we needed 5 or more yards.

The Ugly

Massie-Kills a first down with a holding call. And he was beaten so badly all day that I thought he was holding a red cape.

Drew Stanton-He honestly couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat today. He had a QB rating of 54.8% today and to be honest, I don't think he did that well.

Drew Butler-Honestly, is there no better punter option out there. This guy is terrible. I mean this guy can't punt past 30 yards.

3 Points In Last 7 Quarters-Meaning we better hope we play against a bad defense in the playoffs because against a competent one we're toast.

Well, there we have it. 5 games left. All we need to do is win 3. We need to win next week. Atlanta is a bad team, make no mistake. They have no defense to speak of. We should be able to beat them. See you next week.

The entire game plan was terrible! Didn't really expect to win, but at least show up. Dropped balls, bad play calls. D actually did a good job, but when they are on the field all the time can't really expect to be flawless. Games over and time to look towards next week.

Did you see Cromartie make no effort to make a tackle?

He's not a physical player he's not here to be physical. Hes never been that guy.

Deion Sanders was notorious for that kind of stuff. Does the good out weight the bad? YES

The announcers mentioned it and said he made a career decision on that play... a decision not to get killed making the tackle.. lol

This offense had a big letdown today. You can say well it's SEA but we have to be able to beat teams like SEA if you want to win a SB. The last seven quarters for ARZ have been lackluster, the drop by Brown really stung along with the missed FG, could have been up at halftime and with that lead our defense would have played even better (if possible) to maintain the lead. I feel for the defense because they played from behind all day. Defense did a phenomenal job but offense didn't help them out at all by not sustaining drives and keeping the defense on the field practically the whole game it seemed like.

Neither offensive line had a good day today -- the diff was Wilson had enough mobility to make something out of the chaos.

I think for this team to be better on offense, the two guard spots need to be addressed. Likely won't happen until the offseason-- but the try hard, steady Larsen / Fanaika duo arent getting it done

A RB to back up Ellington is also crucial. Gimpy Ellington is not running through many arm tackles. I don't know if Taylor is still hurt or not, or, he simply isn't very effective -- but somebody with a bit more downhill umpff would be nice.

Both kickers let us down today.
Juke isn't getting it done (injury) and we don't have another quality back on the team. Jaron had an ugly game today.
Massie had a bad day.

Okafor and CC had very good games but both were simply tired at the end of the game and couldn't catch Wilson. Dude is slippery and quick and fast.

Bucannon also playing well, making some plays.

Rashod had a couple of big negative plays.

I was one who thought Fitz should sit this week but he was missed.

John Brown is VERY GOOD. BA needs to get him more involved.

I've withheld judgement on Minter until now, he is looking more and more like a poor choice for the 2nd rd of the draft.

Stanton won't get us far in the playoffs unless the Oline quits crapping the bed and we can run the ball at a respectable level. Plus Stanton has to improve as well.

Jaron had an ugly game today.

He had an ugly drop. Otherwise, he had a pretty good game with two very big catches in the middle of the field.

I've withheld judgement on Minter until now, he is looking more and more like a poor choice for the 2nd rd of the draft.

Today wouldn't be the day that gives you that judgement. It is the first game he's produced all year. If you're witholding judgement, you should probably have reason after this game to keep the holdout going.

We have to prepare for broken play coverage. That is the only reason they gained yardage on us. Same thing in the Philly game; when we miss the backfield hits, we lose our downfield coverage and mistakes happen. Broken plays are a given against guys like Wilson, Kaep or Big Ben, who are hard to bring down either by size or slippery. Play recognition needs to happen at some level that the play has broken, routes are being abandoned and in-play adjustents need to be made. It isn't easy, but when prepping for Seattle you have to be ready for it.
