The thing that stood out for me with Alex Okafor is his size.

He certainly doesn't look 261lbs. That is a big dude. The best thing I saw from Okafor is he is what he was billed, he uses his hands VERY well.

As for Kareem Martin, he did a good job yesterday as a rookie. If he just does his role, and keeps the linebackers clean, then he is doing everything we can ask of him. The kid is a rookie keep in mind.

It is a rare breed that can both eat up offensive linemen, and then go make a play.

His first sack was weird he was being held the entire time right through the sack, took forever he just pushed the guy back and Cousins just stood there. Had no idea Okafor was that strong, both of his sacks were just bull rushes.

First sack was a straight-up bull rush. Really nice seeing a Cardinal lineman walk a tackle back into the QB like that.

Second sack came on a six-man blitz where be benefited from pressure next to him from Larry Foote and a safety coming in from the opposite side.

Looks like he can be a nice depth/rotational player fairly quickly.

finally he played 54 snaps so we could see his value, last week played just 10 snaps.sometimes we need a veteran injury to see youngs emerge.
why the coaches has some problem with it

Yeah I noticed that too. It's refreshing to see a guy that really looks the part of a true edge rusher, being physical with the OL. You can tell that he's emphasized this in his training since last year. A grain of salt might be in order though because last week I did hear alot of Washington's RT being described as the worst Tackle in football.

Well if we can get consistent pass rush from him, we will be in good shape. That was our one glaring weakness coming into the game and you saw how it impacted Cousins as the game went on.

Okafor has been injured. This is the first time he has really been healthy enough to play.
