The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has re-signed the following three players for the 2007 season and allocated all of them to NFL Europa: wide receiver Greg Lee, tight end Alex Shor, and cornerback Justin Wyatt.

Lee (6-1, 201) and Wyatt (5-9, 193) both finished the 2006 season on the practice squad after both originally signing as rookie free agents. Shor (6-7, 250), who also signed as an undrafted rookie free agent last year, was in training camp with the Cardinals until he was released on August 21.

Formerly NFL Europe, the newly named NFL Europa kicks off its 15th season on April 14.

do they think changing the 'e' to an 'a' in 'europe' will suddenly have the fans pouring through the gates over here?

This is a good start...WR Lee has pretty good upside but needs to improve his route running and ball concentration...TE Shor is a huge target and can really run for a player his height, and is a dang good special teamer...CB Wyatt is a smart cover 2 corner who needs to play more aggressively...

I would like to see these players added to the NFL Europa list:

RB/S Diamond Ferri...could turn heads as a sleeper out there, perhaps the way Roger Robinson did, although it might make sense for the Cardinals to push him as a safety out there, seeing as he may stand a better chance of making the 53 man roster as a safety, rather than a RB.

QB John Navarre...really needs an experience like this...needs to focus on his footwork, pass release angle and his leadership abilities.

TE/FB Jon Bronson...needs to settle down on one position and gain valuable experience there...

OLBs Daryl Blackstock...hasn't seen the field much at all and needs to hone his skills and instincts, especially in reading his keys and transitioning smoothly into run support or pass coverage. Plus, he can do what he does does best, rush the QB hard from the backside edge.

Agree with most... however, I do not agree with Navarre...the only reason he was not let go is because he was a DG pick...move on.. he is horrible!

Ferri was in NFLE last year..... and no he "wasn't a sleeper" and "he didn't turn any heads"..... 84 carries for 333 yrds. Allocated by Atlanta. Maybe as a safety...... ok.
