Weinfuss is dong his best to stir the pot and get clicks today. Did he really expect Lefty to be retained? LOL. Some of these "reporters" are just not good.

All that BS about being patient for a coach screwed them. They only had defilipo and Wilks to choose from when the well dried up, they need to move fast with the next HC hire.

Bidwill acted so quickly that he didn’t even take the time to personally fire Wilks before Wilks got the news. Wilks was walking around assuming he was fired this morning. Michael B is not making the same mistake twice.

It's a start.

Leftwich was a mild upgrade over McCoy, but he was still a below average OC. Holcomb obviously wasn't a qualified DC from the beginning.

Now we need to overhaul the college scouting department and send Don Johnson packing to keep the momentum going.

I can't stand Weinfuss: he makes Seth Wickersham seem like a top notch journalist.

Not sure about this. Did you see the Wilks handshake with MB and SK after the game yesterday? Someone posted it on here, he knew he was gone.

I saw it. But the fact that Wilks wasn’t sure if he had been fired this morning makes me love Michael B. As a matter of fact, Bidwill didn’t even waste the time to have his media staff reorganize the press conferences like he did for Whisenhunt. Bidwill was disgusted and didn’t waste time with formalities. Good for him. Wilks cost him a fortune

Old Man Bidwill would change the locks at the head facility in St. Louis. I’m not sure he ever informed coaches that they were fired. You knew if your key didn’t work that you were gone. Seriously, I’m not kidding.

There is something to be said for showing no respect to someone who cost you a fortune and humiliated you. I like the way that Wilks was let go with minimal fanfare
