Why dont the cardinals give up a 1st for Mike Wallace. I think that would put us on top in the Manning sweepstakes.

In the final analysis winning is what counts. Drafting good players and keeping them is part of winning. Our record would indicate we fall short in this area. Starting is not necessarily an indication of being a good player. It is an indication that your coach thinks you are the best he has at that position. You could still suck when compared to others at your position. You may be good on one team and terrible on another if you are played out of position or surrounded by bad players. Football really is a team game and how you perform as an individual is much effected by those around you including your coaches.

The fact is over the past 100 years the Cards are probably the worst team in the NFL. The reasons are legion. I have been a loyal Cards fan since 1945 and will always be. Being loyal does not mean being blind to what you see.

Maybe so, but comparing this Cardinal team to the Cardinal teams of 10 years or more ago is ridiculous. They have been working under an entirely diffferent premise since they got their new stadium. They now act and function like any of the top NFL teams because they have the cash flow to do so. Regardless of what anyone says, this is not the same old Cardinals.

Noone said starting makes you good but if you start for 5 straight years you are not a bust.

We've NEVER made the Super Bowl, or won the NFC West, without Levi Brown!

FACT!!!!!

And we've NEVER made the Super Bowl, or won the NFC West without Antrell Rolle or Karlos Dansby or Anquan Boldin or Steve Breaston or Duece Lutui or Reggie Wells or Mike Gandy or Dominique Rodgers Cromartie, or Chike Okeafor or Bryan Robinson or Alan Branch or Tim Hightower or Ben Patrick or Neil Rackers or Ali Highsmith or Sean Morey or Jerheme Urban or Ralph Brown or even Pago Togafau.

On the other hand thanks to Darnell Dockett, Dan Williams, Calais Campbell, Sam Acho, Daryl Washington, Patrick Peterson, Greg Toler, Kerry Rhodes and Adrian Wilson the Cards could very well have won an NFC West without Levi Brown this year.
