Cards have improved more than any team this offseason.
They filled holes on defense and OL in FA

They also had a great draft the way I see it cards only made one huge mistake in the draft. I think they should have picked Mack over Thompson the S.

Not a mistake but wish they would have rolled the dice and traded next year 2nd 3rd a 5th 6th this year.
To any team picking before browns and cards take Greedy. Murphy at 33 and Greedy at 37 or so.

I doubt next year 2nd will be able to contribute in 2020 as much as Greedy would have.
Taken a young QB that will make mistakes and young DB'S that will make mistakes may be the best way to go as they learn and grow together.

Cards would have had their starting WR group set for the future along with a great young secondary.

I think Keim did a great job overall. Cards should go at least 7-9 8-8

We needed a true centrefielder at S and got one; needed a true nickle and got one with our second pick. Greedy can cover, but if he actually hits someone it's a mistake.

I don’t know if I would have traded that many picks to move ahead of the Browns.
That’s a lot.
Then again I am just an arm chair gm.

sinsay, think that you are right on, about the Cards being better. And I do think that they will be an exciting team to watch. However, being realistic, we're another draft (and FA) away from competing for a title in the NFC West. The team, I think is in fairly good CAP shape, and IMO is moving in the right direction. But if Las Vegas says 4-5 wins this year, that's probably close to being correct.

Amen! And do we know whether Keim even had Greedy on the top 120 board? He was a fashionable name for many on here, but guessing he was much lower or not on their board altogether much like Metcalf.

Cards knew what they wanted, stuck to their board, and strengthened the roster significantly. While I wanted Wilson in rd 5, I’m not at all sad about who they selected.

A centerfielding FS is more valuable than a Backup NT who likely only plays on run downs.

I know I’m prob alone here but I think Peterson, Alford, Murphy, Brock, Amerson, Nichols/Williams gives us the best overall group of corners we’ve had in a loooonnnnnngggg time.
I'm with ya there only question is about Peterson and if they can get the issues with him worked out although a trade of Peterson would be tempting for the RIGHT Price say 4 or 5 No 1s should just bout do it

You're not alone.

I don't think this is even debatable.
