Please, close your eyes and think:

1.) The field in Charlotte is the same dimensions as the field at UoP!

2.) The football is made of the same material and is the same size as the ones you play with in AZ!

3.) You play on grass in AZ - the field in Charlotte is also a hybrid Bermuda Grass!!

4.) You'll hear fans screaming and yelling... Just as you do each game at UoP and certainly, in the Cowboy game where there were a fair amount of anti-Card fans in the house. You dealt with that in AZ. You can deal with that in NC.

5.) The weather on Sunday is supposed to be as close to the conditions inside UoP as you can ever expect to get in an outdoor road environment! Sunny. Warm. No Wind!!!

If you were playing the Panthers at UoP, we know what type of game we would see from you guys... Everything is in place to allow you to play this game as if you were playing it at UoP! Except what is happening between your collective ears...
Close your eyes and see UoP. When you see Panther colors, see Red & White! When you hear the screams from the crowd, visualize UoP! See BIG TONY on the screen! Think of the Fry's giveaway! The Tailgater of the Game!!! See Mad Jack's sign hanging in the north west part of the endzone!! See Pat Tillman's name in the ring of honor... Duece - your family will be in the south endzone if you can see them there! So will KidStallyn!! You can see him in his Kid Rock Pimp'n feathered hat if you want to!!
Know that on every 3rd down, every TV set in the valley will be feeling the thunder as we root on the defense!! Darnell, Antonio - wave your hands and arms if you want to... We'll be with ya and you will hear us - if you want to!!

What a tremendous statement this would be if we can win this road game... What an enormous condifidence boost this would provide... It's there... ready to be had... if you can see it... if you want to...

Oh, and bring your tray tables and seat backs to the full and upright position.

Thank you.

It's not like we didn't come close several times last year, even on the east coast. (see the Baltimore and Washington games last year. We very easily could have won both of those games, especially the Washington game.) One of the keys is to COME OUT STRONG.

NO!! That's what they always do and it NEVER works!!! They need to take the Costanza approach and do the opposite of everything they have have done in the past. Think the opposite of every past thought!!!

Keep the trays down and lounge back in the seats!!!

Dude - we've won 15 and lost 55 since 2000... I am certain that there are plenty of games in those 55 losses that could have gone the other way... but they didn't...

Actually, from 2000-2008, the Cardinals are 14-53 on the road; including 1999 makes it 16-59.

The lowlight was 0-8 in 2003; the highlight in that span was 4-4 in 2001.

Just keepin' it real....

We are past due to beat Carolina. I remember them beating us at SDS a few years ago when we led most of the game (Q fumbled on a play and they turned that into a TD which turned the momentum in their favor IIRC) so it is our turn to beat them at their place.
I agree this is a big game. We need to beat a good team and get a non-NFC West road win to further establish us as a good team.

Just checked a multitude of relevant factors. We are in trouble. Their cheerleaders include a few bow-wows but most of them are foxes.

Foxes beat our pack of hounds easily.

Dear Arizona Cardinals:

Charlotte is in Eastern Standard Time. Please remember to be on time for the game. Arizona is a wierd Mountain/Pacific time zone. This should confuse your body clocks. During the game, it will be 1pm in Charlotte, and maybe 10 or 11am in Arizona. You are not equipped to handle this time difference. Get a good night sleep!

Sincerely,
The Carolina Panthers
