Sorry to upset your delicate sensebilitys. He still has 25 of our PTs so I say ARIZONA FEELYS FTW!!

Feely sucks. It's his fault that we didn't win this game 46 to 13.

Cardinals history yet again,.....this will be remembered as the day Jay Feely cost us Andrew Luck.......watch it just play out that way.

Yet again. Its not a given Luck comes out.

His parents (his dad a former NFL player) are loaded and want him to get his degree. It was unlikely we were getting him anyways even if we lost out

Maybe the Cardinals have found their QB of the future in Skelton although I'm all for drafting a QB if one is there. I always think of Ryan Leaf when I think of can't miss QBs.

Had my serious doubts we were getting Luck anyhow...I really don't see the Panthers passing him up, especially if a new coach comes in.

yeah, but if the Panthers beat us,...then Atlanta in a meaningless game to end the season,....we were in.

True...but even then, I don't see Carolina beating us or Atlanta. Right now, I think Carolina is definitely playing to lose.

Luck is very likely to come out, I know in theory it's possible he won't but with the lockout scheduled next year as a possibility, anyone who can come out and go high in the first round is almost insane not to.

There are a lot of QB's in this draft class, and more on the way because of what I just said, I wouldn't be that upset if we got another one or even a pass rusher where we pick, we need a pass rusher too.

Washington hot dogged it to the endzone after he intercepted the ball and had it stripped. Dockett recovered the ball thankfully. Didn't quite get the best angle to see if Washington broke the plane but regardless, it was a touchdown.
FTFY :)

Usually when players come out early its because of the money. His parents are loaded so that isn't a worry for him. Not to mention losing the Heisman and having a good team next year give him the perfect excuse to come back.

How the draft goes for us is still undecided. Lets see if Skelton improves and if so QB becomes less of a priority

He's got a chance to be the number one pick, likely will be, in that case you come out, how do you better going number one overall?

The alternative is the NFL has a lockout and you sit a year or so after playing again risking injury or worse yet, an oddball offseason that tanks you out of the first round.

It's not likely any of that would happen but when you could be the first overall pick just what are you waiting for?

If he's already rich maybe I guess, maybe you hope to land on a better team lower down in the draft but going back to school for another year if you have a monster year that's out of the question.

You guys know him better than I do but it's a mistake IMO to not grab the ring when it first comes around.

Funny how one of the biggest arguments I've gotten into on these boards was about Rackers in 2006 against KC and Chicago on how those losses were "squarely on his shoulders" yet here we have a kicker who was singly responsible for 25 of our points today and what do I get? "It's a team game and it's not like he kicked an 80 yard FG..." OK, so which is it then? Just so I have an understanding, if a kicker has the kind of day Feely had today, he's only a cog in the machine of a team but if a kicker misses a potential game wining FG in 2 games where the team blew double digit leads in, he is solely responsible for losing.

I agree with you but there are signs of him going back. It doesn't have to make sense to us. It matters if it makes sense to him and his family

Difference being that Metcalf had an entire Panzer division of tanks for an offensive line to run behind. I could have gained 1,000 yards running behind that line and I was only 10 years old at the time.
There's a complement to hyphen somewhere in there right?:p

I'm not sure why you're taking this so personally. Feely had a very good day. However, there were several comments about how once again our kicker was responsible for all our points. For me, the idea was getting too much circulation and I was relieved when someone else finally scored.

It amazes me what Howling can do at such a small size. He plays with heart.

Yeah, but I cringe when he has to run it two plays in a row. I love watching him play but I don't want to see him carted off the field.

Wow, like I said, I don't pay attention to him but that's just bizzare.

I have a hunch Blaine Gabbert is comming out and if we win a game or two more then he should be slotted about right in the sweet spot for us, especially if he drops to round two, now that would be a literal steal in the 2nd for him.

Him, Skelton and a veteran FA backup would be ideal IMO.

Luck is going to cost us way to much to get, we weren't going to get close enough to get him anyhow, although from the film I have watched he would IMO be worth giving picks to go up and get.

I just don't see this FO pulling that trigger unless we're the number one pick and we're not going to be nor would we have been even if we lost today.

Actually, I would think it would be a compliment to be compared to Terry Metcalf. Great ballplayer during his years with the Cards.
