Nor the defenses, for that matter.

I was gonna say that too, but I forgot.

That being said - King was pretty god-awful yesterday and that quote of his about " if you look at the stats and take away the turnovers" thing made me kind of ill.

Yeah, that's an assed-up quote. The primary stat you can't take away is 35-10. And whats more, those 350 yards passing don't mean jack with only 1 TD. You throw for 350, you better get 3 TDs out of that, at the VERY least.

So maybe King should have said, "take away the turnovers, add in a couple more TDs and readjust the final score and it wasn't a bad day."

Does anyone think Green can take 5 years of play such as we are seeing from the Cards? He will not be fired he may just quit after a couple of years of this. The more I think about the problems of this team up to this point I lay it on the shoulders of Green.

You gotta look at things with some perspective. Yes, Denny is fielding a below average team right now. We are 4-6 and that is about where we deserve to be. But last years squad was a complete failure and the worst team in Pro Football. Green has been cleaning house - and it was about damn time. As disappointing as these road losses have been, I think we're fielding a work in progress team that has a lot of potential. All things considered, I'm pleased with the effort so far this season.
