So what happened to him in Washington? Heard something happened to get him released there but not sure what it was.

I would draft Bosa number 1. Have him and CJ with Mayowa, Golden plus a UDFA as rotation. We need a stud DT which has me in 2 minds about Q. Williams as the draft pick.

All depends on what DTs will be there in FA, Suh?

Don't know if this was mentioned but the Redskins cut Swearinger for publicly calling out his team and coaches and yet they pick up a guy who beat the crap out of his girlfriend, signed a back who was once suspended for whipping his child with a stick leaving marks, and aren't doing anything about a player who is on camera knocking another man unconscious from a street fight. Does that make any sense?

Overrated? I disagree.

Calais was(is) a very good player and leader. We just couldn't justify that kind of contract at that time.
People wanted him at that contract though. He's a good player but not Elite contract player

Hopefully he rips this coaching staff too

Yeah I know people see that as bad but here? Nah. Rip away my dude. \

This was a great move, from what I remember WASH overpaid up front and stole him at the last minute.

Larry Fitzgerald WR 35 ARI TBD $11,000,000 UFA -
Mike Iupati G 32 ARI TBD $8,000,000 UFA -
Deone Bucannon OLB 27 ARI TBD $1,927,301 UFA -
Tre Boston FS 27 ARI TBD $1,500,000 UFA -
Benson Mayowa DE 28 ARI TBD $1,350,000 UFA -
Markus Golden DE 28 ARI TBD $979,583 UFA -
John Phillips TE 32 ARI TBD $915,000 UFA -
Leonard Johnson CB 29 ARI TBD $915,000 UFA -
Joe Barksdale RT 30 ARI TBD $915,000 UFA -
Gerald Hodges OLB 28 ARI TBD $790,000 UFA -
Derrick Coleman FB 28 ARI TBD $790,000 UFA -
Oday Aboushi G 28 ARI TBD $790,000 UFA -
Rodney Gunter DT 27 ARI TBD $697,479 UFA -
Zach Moore DE 28 ARI TBD $660,000 UFA

These are the UFA players presently on the roster who become available in 2019. Which ones would you consider keeping and which ones do you actually think will agree to a new contract with the team?

I think you want Mayowa, Barksdale, Hodges, Gunter and Moore. I leave Fitz off until he decides what he is going to do. I think Gunter, Mayowa, Golden, and Moore test the FA market and could potentially be lost to another team.

Fitz, Golden, Gunter. The rest can go elsewhere.

My friend who is a diehard Washington fan says DJ was the ringleader of an ongoing fight between the front 7 and the secondary. He also acknowledges that their whole organization is super dysfunctional right now, but it sounds like Swearinger wasn't helping the situation.

That list is sad. Good news, we don't have to worry about losing a star player (unless Fitz retires)

Fitz of course but salary needs to be more reasonable.
Barksdale seems like a solid RT so far (hasn't given up a sack in 20+ straight games).
I like Mayowa more than Golden.
DJ Swearinger just replaced Boston.

That's it

Gambo says Swearinger's contract is not guaranteed for next season.

I can’t imagine they’d claim him for 1 game. If they pay this he’s locked up.

Not that my focus was super crisp watching the tee vee, but it seemed to me that Boston screwed up more plays than he made.

Replacing him with Swearinger has to represent a major net-plus for us.
