Understand completely, and a completely fair ask of me....but anytime I give a number or sound overly optimistic, it is from a direct quote or written in a text.

The only opinions I include are my feelings on the player and how I think they would fit. The "99.99%" was based off his exact words to a HS teammate and longtime friend. So I just copied the exact response that I read from the texts.

Going forward, I'll be sure to put the messages from the contact in quotes so there is no question as to if its my belief, or it was passed on to me by a legitimate person in the situation.

Surprisingly little right now....most of the comments have been on Freeney, CJ, Jefferson, and Rashad. Just that "they have all have general $$$ that the Cards are willing to spend" and that "everyone wants to stay if they get the chance"

So nothing really that we wouldn't expect from Kiem on how the press has covered his negotiation style. It really sounded like both Freeney and CJ if they were brought back would be very incentive laden deals...."their are giving the vets a chance to play their way into a lot of money"

None of that is really earth shattering, but it's good to know they still have Rashad and Tony on the list of who they want, I'm sure it's just at a cheap contract as to why we probably haven't heard anything (and Jefferson is just waiting a bit to see if anyone wants to try and beat the Cards tender). Cause at worst if they did come back, we've got solid depth that knows the defense and would allow a lot of the rotation like they do with the D-line to keep them as fresh as they want.
