Edit: I initially thought it was getting flexed to the night game which you can’t do to a game originally starting in the morning. So it’s just an afternoon flex which is not considered a national game

Yea I don't really see the big deal. I would think the later start time would have been better especially with Rams Ravens playing at the same time and LA being the biggest TV market in the country.

The other games in that time slot are Seahawks/Lions and Rams/Ravens. So I'd imagine most of the country will get Cards/Cowboys, although Rams/Ravens seems like a fine game to have the national afternoon spotlight (with Seattle/Detroit relegated to local markets).

Man I love it. K1 and K2 both have strong ties with Texas and this will be like an early playoff game for both of them.

Good chance for them to get the big stage/bright lights monkey off their backs.

I guess it would suck if you were traveling to the game and had a postgame flight scheduled for a couple of hours after the expected end time of the morning game. (We don't, but just saying)

I've never understood why anyone would go to Hawaii when it's not winter here. I always go in January when it's freezing here. Whales are there that time of year too. Course I'm old... I go when there's no school kids, teenagers, spring breakers etc.

I still have a young son so my travel is basically restricted to summertime when out of school. Otherwise I have to jump through to many hoops with the ex to travel solo and don’t want to go with him during those months so he doesn’t have to miss school.

What he said. A lot of times you have to plan around the kiddos. I had to go in March for Spring Break with the kids.

I'm with you Steve. I guess I hate crowds more than I hate for my kid to miss school. Never been to Hawaii but when planning for a trip like Disneyland, I would just as well my son miss some days of school versus battle the crowds in the summer or spring break. lol.

Another 1st world problem... NFL games start at like 6am in Hawaii. You have to get your bony azz out of bed and for guys like Shane, the bars don't open that early.

I go to Cancun last week of April. No crowds!

Edit: might be first week of May. I've followed the NFL draft from there on my phone thru ASFN the last 2 years.

It's beautiful in the summer and so much cooler than AZ

It's the humidity plus the temp she said. Plus we have 10 free days at a condo on the beach thanks to her cousin (who owes us $). I hated the high humidity when I was there in the summer. JMHO.

Less people in LA watch Rams games than people in Phoenix watch Cards games. Our game should be on Fox, that game on CBS. So it's not even conflict. I guess Fox wants to dominate the ratings during that time as ARI-DAL v LA-BAL won't be close.
