2. Defensive scoring #1 (24 pts with xpts)
3. Touchdowns against #1 (4) We have given up fg's but not many td's
4. Yards per game allowed #5 (299.7)
5. 3rd down pct #3
6. Sacks tied for #12 with 6
7. Yards/p #5
8. First downs per game #1 (15.3)

Defensive Points allowed - we are # 3. (49 against)

And to think, the defense should get better too. It took a couple of weeks with both Horton and Bowles before it all clicked.

Thanks for posting this, I was looking at the numbers myself and just didn't take the time to post any of this.

The big negative is the 20 & 40 + pass plays we have given up, we are one of the worst teams in the league. Having said that many of those came in week 1 so we are improving. The defensive domination of the 49ers helped greatly with these rankings.

Just read this and man oh man is it an amazing stat.

That punt-and-return by the Niners for their only score was the only time the 49ers crossed the 50 the whole game.
