wha? I don't remember anyone freaking out about Abraham. Almost everyone saw him as a great late off-season pickup, especially since he had put up 10 sacks in his last year with the Falcons, and 9 sacks the year before that. That's not the case at all with Harrison who is a) older and b) has shown huge decline in effectiveness the last two seasons.

There were a few Joey Porter comparisons when we signed Ole Abe.

I say bring him in. I think the younger, possibly faster LBs and DBs on our team can really motivate him in the LB role. A quiet veteran leader in the lockerrom as well. Imagine him flying around with guys like CC, Mathieu, Rucker, Acho, Abraham et al

I'm all for giving Harrison a shot here. Won't hurt

i heard during nfl network was really underated harrison playing last season.he was very effective against the run, probably doesnt fit well in 4-3 defense.

harrison is better at 36 then acho-benard-okafor combined

I hate this idea with ever fiber of my being. He's a thug whose wayyyy beyond his prime, and every game we're gonna have to see that SB highlight.

If BASK sign him, then I'm all in. They do know more than most/all of us, but do make mistakes. And ALL of us posters are wrong a LOT of times, even though you'd never know it, by reading this board. Seems a good fit as a situational pass rusher.

You mean our young kids will see thier team in the Super Bowl and amost winning it and being reminded of that every week? Can't say that is a bad thing even as much as it hurt to be so close.

I also know that will highligh Larry on the play and how he never gave up and almost saved it.

James Harrison's agent, Bill Parise, said as well as his client's visit went with Cardinals, he is not expected to sign there.

The timing of his visit...with the team in SD...was weird. Maybe he was hoping to spur the Steelers into pulling a Brett Keisel...or some other team.

BA said Harrison is in good shape...and added "we'll see what happens."

My guess is that if Harrison isn't signed by someone else after Game 1, then the Cardinals might get something done with him then.

I think the Cardinals made a veteran exception for Tommie Kelly (because of losing Darnell Dockett), but they generally do not want to sign vets this late to guaranteed money...they prefer to wait until after Game 1 or Game 2.

As @AdamSchefter reported, James Harrison is not signing with #AZCardinals. Combination of age, durability questions and $$

"Couldn't make the numbers work," said Harrison's agent, Bill Parise.

You may be the only Card fan on the planet that finds something positive in that highlight. Congratulations!
