Get 6 Turnovers and have a back rushing for over 100 yards and lose. That has to be a World record.

6 straight drives without picking up a first down. That's Cardinal crazy as well.

I agree that the 3 and outs killed us.

5 different Cardinals had an interception. That might be some kind of record as well.

defense came to play, offense stunk as usual. i think its unfair to put any blame on lindley. this loss falls on the coaching staff, or lack of.

I want to give Whiz credit for putting his kids in time out instead of hitting them. I hope Skelton learns his lesson just like Edge, Deuce, Leinart, and Boldin did. Way to show Skelton who is boss Whiz! That's why we love you!

Exzactly the play worked, Fitz just didn't hang on.

yup. Sucks. And Lindley will get **** over it too. He did his part though. Is he the future? Maybe. But he sure as hell isn't the present. Neither is Skelton though. Kolb needs to break out the duct tape and get out there

Such a freaking disappointing loss. :( We win the turnover margin by +5 yet lose. When was the last time a team did that?

The depressing thing is, who would want this job?
I would think a lot of coaches would be intrigued by it. Our offense has a lot of weapons, and I think they will look decent at least when Kolb gets back. See what spots they can fill in the draft. Bring a decent playbook, and we should be able to win on a regular basis

Oh, I don't think our offense has all that many weapons. Counting the QB position, I'd say we have fewer above average weapons than most teams.

I feel bad for the d. They play well but the offense lays a massive egg. :(

no? Fitz is All-Pro. Roberts developed into a solid playmaker. Housler has the ability to be a killer weapon as fast as he is at TE with the right coaching. Beanie is a monster when healthy (which he should stay more healthy with good play-calling. Floyd is another like Housler, he's got the ability to do some real damage at WR if coached well. RWILL is a big ?, He's got a lot of talent, but his weird freak season-ending injuries are a concern. Kolb has shown that he can lead the offense to win games if the line keeps him alive. I really don't think we're all that far away from being good on offense, in terms of personnel. Miller NEEDS to go. Grimm NEEDS to go. Keep starting Potter and Massie through the season and see how they look by the end and HOPE at least one can be a good starter. Hopefully Levi comes back playing like he did at the end of last season and I think we'd be good at OT. Get Kelemete in there to get him practice and evaluate his ability as well. Then we hit the draft HARD for offensive players. Our D already can run with the best of em, and so many are still improving. I think an OC could easily turn this offense around and likely get HC interviews a year later just like Horton

I was going to respond to each player you mentioned here but I can't get past this comment. All I can say is WTF? Every time Beanie turns around, whether in a game or a practice, the guy seems to come up lame. How in the world is that the fault of the play caller? Seriously, other than telling the guy to run away from the mean old bad guys, what's Miller and Whiz supposed to do with him? Part of the problem with Beanie's injuries is his running style - upright and very physical, and I don't see that changing at this stage of his career.

We have fewer weapons than most teams, IMO. A healthy Beanie would go a little ways towards narrowing the gap but we're still a bit light. Fitz is great, no question. Roberts is decent, Doucet is shaky, Floyd has been largely ineffective, Housler would be 3rd string or practice squad fodder for just about any other team and we have one of the most historically inept quarterbacking crews ever. Now, a good O line improves all of that but even with a line, we've no better than average weapons, if that (obviously, IMO).

Doucet sucks. Roberts has seriously impressed me this year. Floyd doesn't get thrown to, not much he can do. Housler has a lot of raw ability, but needs a damn coach. Beanie wouldn't have to fight off and drag 6 defenders every play if they were set up right to actually give him a running lane

we're all gonna have our own opinions, and of course there will be disagreements, but I still say the talent is absolutely there, we just need a coach that can get it out of these guys. Hopefully the organization will make the right choice and replace those inept coaches with ones that actually know what they're doing. Then we can find out one way or another ;)

I agree.

This is what amuses me the most: If you criticize an individual player posters immediately come to his defense writing how good he is. Doesn't matter who it is. But if you criticize the coaches posters immediately come to the coaches defense by saying we don't have the players.
