I kno wit may take a while to garner a reply, but I wanted to ask while it's fresh in my head. . . what was thought of our stadium, and our fan base?

I'll continue to bump when they get back in town.

Well Fisch, I didn't go to the stadium as a 'typical fan" but I'll give you my impression anyway.

For the most part, I think that Ford Field was ok. I am surprised at how much the Field Turf feels like real grass. The locker room was sub-par for the "new stadiums" and the press box was high. In the suites, they have Lincoln Navigator seats for the patrons. Pretty cool. The staff was friendly too.

I thought that the fans were typical. They sat on their hands when Boldin scored on his 71 yarder but erupted when Drummond returned the punt. That happens everywhere though.

Much to the chagrin of Joey Harrington, the fans were chanting "Bull ****...Bull ****" when Bill Corollo said that the Lions cannot advance a muff. I can't stand when fans do that, especially when there are thousands of kids in attendance. I give Joey Harrington much credit though. First of all, he showed that he has improved from last year and that he is going to be a great QB. Secondly, he was motioning to the fans to stop their immature chant. Even though he is the enemy, Joey Harrington is an easy guy to root for.

I think that overall, the Lions fans did a good job.

The fans

Most of whom I sat around were really cool. There were some idiots (as I am sure all stadiums have). A couple of plays before Emmit's "breaking-the-tackle-in-the-backfield-running-to-the-Lions-13-yard-line", there were about a hundred losers saying "Emmit Sucks, Emmit Sucks...", after that run, I stood up and started yelling, "Emmit Sucks, Emmit Sucks..." -My girlfriend immediately pulled on my jersey to get me to sit down. After the game, a couple of stupid fans started to taunt me, but I just said "good game" --What I wanted to say is something along the lines of "yeah, ummmmm 450 yards of offense from a sucky team....good luck this year". Don't get me wrong, I am still sore from the loss. And the people I sat around actually were very cool, got to talk to them throughout the game like actual people. That stadium is awesome (I think). I even got to meet an ASFN user (whatup Cardinal Mark?). Anyway, I have a bunch of crow to eat today with a bunch of Lions fans at work today.....ugh.
