We fans on this board do not always agree but one thing we can agree on is the guys on this board are true Cards fans. Things in the future just as in the past do not look good. We are probably no better than an 8/8 team for some time to come but here we are hanging in there trying to root the Cards on to an 8/8 season. We few are as god a fans as they come. I have been one for 70 years and will be one until the end. I have seen the good, bad and ugly. Probably the guys I will remember the most are Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald. Not only great football players but great human beings. I doubt we have more than 5 Cards fan in our entire state. If we were to draft Tyler Wilson we would suddenly have a million Arkansas fans. I still see him ending up in Dallas.

I'm from Phoenix but I lived on Lake of the Ozarks in 86 and I became a fan then, everybody else liked KC, I went with the Cardinals.

24 year Card fan... but that's all but two years of my life.

Wow. That means the Cards have been 4-12 or 5-11 almost half of your life.

:(

They've won either 4 or 5 games a season for almost half my life as well. And I've been a fan as long as 40year. And to think I gave up the Packers for the Cardinals.

But then you guys know I'm not very bright. :D

I was apparently a very patient child. I didn't even live in Phoenix/Arizona (sans a 3 month stint in Tucson when my dad was in the Air Force) until I was 18, so I had no particular reason to stick with them.

Keep on truckin'.

Same here! Dad had season tickets even at SDS. 45 yard line, 5 rows up, right behind the opposing teams bench. I remember games being awesome as a kid, not for the product on the field, but the three mid-40 year old guys next to us who brought a cloth amplifier cone and yelled the most obscene things at opposing players I'd ever heard. Taught me how to truly root for my team. :D

Cardinals have sucked my entire life, minus our Warner years. Will never be able to root for another team.

I've been a fan since they moved here. Was a Colts fan when I was a kid. My older brother was a Cowboys fan so when they played the Colts in the superbowl I had to root against my brother. So I became a Colts fan until the Cards moved here.

Definately wasn't far to Kennett.I probably knew the names of as many Missouri towns as Arkansas towns because we lived right on the state line.

I'm still a fairly new Cards fan. I became a casual fan when they moved to the Valley but I didn't join up officially until they drafted Jake. Even so, I've been a die-hard supporter through the bad, the bad, the bad, the bad, the good and the bad, once again.

This is my 50th anniversary as a Cardinal fan. My Dad was a diehard Cardinal baseball fan growing up in Syracuse, NY. He let me pick our favorite football team. Of course, I chose the St. Louis Cardinals! He still gives me grief about that. All my sons have followed in my footsteps. My grandson is a cardinal fan too. Wouldn't have it any other way!

38 year Card fan here. Started luving them when my dad took me to training camp at EIU. Al "Bubba" Baker will always be one of my favorites as he was a fan magnet. Took alot of time talking to fans, signing auto, pics...

The name Cardinals actually comes from the ancient Latin term meaning "fans with calluses". You can't be no splinter wussy, need some man hands to handle this here board. Sand on sand off, in through mouth, out through nose. Maintaining inner peace while actually caring about this team seems impossible to some, that's when some can't hang on the board... they end up walking the plank. But I hope these new coaches beieve in the measure twice cut once motto. I haven't really gotten a woody yet for this season, maybe draft day will be different.
