Nice job throwing the ball away there. Get them next down... oh wait. There is no next try on a conversion.

Seriously, I know I am ripping on him like a broken record, but what does anyone see in Kolb? There are zero signs that he is remotely qualified to be an NFL starter.

The OL makes it hard to comment on anything- this is the worst set of O tackles I have ever seen at pass protection as a longtime Cardinals fan

Even on that drive at least 3 times Kolb had to avoid a sack to get rid of the ball and Pitt was in a modified prevent.

This OL just can't pass block.

I thought this was a rebuilding year, where did is miss that?

Obviously this is a rebuilding year.

Course it helps to have a good plan when you start building something, as of now the plan looks suspect.

I just don't get it. We have a two point conversion try from thentwo yard line, Kolb gets the ball, has no one close to him, back pedals to the 15 yard line... Then throws the out of bounds... On a two point conversion?! Wy not at least put it in the end zone? Its a dead play... Then wiz doesn't even go for the onside? I mean...

Wow fake an onside kick to kick the ball away while down by 12 points with 4 minutes left. Awesome.

Agreed on both points. Should have thrown it up for grabs and hoped for a play from a WR.

It's not so much about Kolb for me, it's the lack help he gets from the offensive line and the Cardinals lack of a consistent running game.

It's just too easy to blame the QB.

I don't get it either. I hate to say it but I wonder if he's just afraid of risking an even bigger loss.

That's a big part of what went wrong here. We thought we were going to have a 3 headed monster (Wells, Williams and LSH) running the ball and it just didn't happen.

It is easy to blame the QB... when he cant hit wide open played down field despite having time to throw. How every time he does have strong blocking he seems to endlessly roll right or run backwards, how he takes 15 yard sacks, throws balls at guys feet.

It would be one thing if promising drives are getting stifled because of one bad play. But thats not the case. Kolb is showing nothing that qualifies as promising.

Yep in this game the whole 2nd half without a real RB against the #1 pass defense in the NFL.

Too bad Beanie was starting to get it going when he got hurt.

Yes. Also Wells can seemingly never stay healthy. Having Williams healthy and keeping Hightower would have been huge.

To be fair to the O line I think you guys talking about our running game are correct.

I think the toll of having no running threat causes a lot of the terrible pass blocking simply because we're going ot that well way way way too much, a running game that struck fear in the other team could change things in an epic fashion.

That entire play was dumb, why run PA to the right with what, one option in the endzone to throw to on that side?

This.

You can't anticipate an injury but it would have been much smarter to have three quality RB's given our needs in that area and considering who one of the RB's was.

And considering that wiliams has been injury prone in both college and high school.
