Now I am in a bind. Do I start Doug Martin or AP this week in fantasy? I have Melvin Gordon as #1. Zeke is on bye and my #4 RB, Cook tore ACL weeks ago.

He is hungry. He wants to prove he can still play. Here is the way we need to look at this. If he runa for say 85 yards and a TD and we beat Tampa. The momentum train will be big. If he runs for 31 yards on 15 carries and we lose....everyone will say ...see.....but if that happens who cares. Johnson was running for that anyway. So the upside is bigger than the downside to me

It would be nice to see him light it up but I stated in the other thread, our O-line is just plain bad and I don't see that happening. And I'm not concerned about about a conditional pick, how many of those has gotten us a stellar player? And I'm asking because I seriously don't know lol
I am hoping that he does really good tho, as I think we all are
IMO the value in the 6th rounder isnt about what player it may get us on its own,... but in adding it with others in an attempt to trade up

Doug Martin is rough when playing AZ, we didn't do well last week but we do have a good run d. I don't imagine Peterson does much either. Searched the FA list?

I'd start Martin or look at the kid from the Vikings on your waiver.

The great Justin Bethel couldn't give up his numbet to a HOF RB. That's some serious hubris.

AP will grab a switch and set that boy straight! :p

If it was the last question on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" I couldn't tell you what number Bethel was before this trade.... I just look at his name as he's trying to run down the guy who just scorched him.

Bethel has been here for what, 6 years? and he should just surrender his number to a rental? Boohoo about numbers IMO.

PS: The nfl doesnt allow it mid season anyway.

I'm sure Skkorp would be proud of your post as well. My side is right and if you don't agree with me ...well you're stupid.
I haven't called anyone stupid but thanks for putting words in my mouth. Seems we are all the way back now.

Exactly. Cheese and Ouchi KNOW how the season is going to play out. To suggest anything else is pure delusion.
What do you think more likely:

We win. We win no more than 6 games

Or

We win the division (I'm not even setting high bar like win the NFC or Super Bowl)

At least this gives me something to watch out of morbid curiosity. I'll wish for the best but my logic steers me otherwise.

I didn't put words in your mouth, you actually said they were "delusional". My comment was a joke, I have never heard you call anybody "stupid". My bad I thought the joke was obvious and everyone could read what you actually said.

Don't bother with Cbus... remember he's the guy who KNEW the Cards were going to turn it around last season (which they didn't) and bashed and scoffed at anyone who disagreed with him (which we did).

I think it was I who called people delusional!
