When comparing AP to CJ2K, I mistakenly thought that they were identical in size.

Turns out C Johnson was listed at 201 pounds. Adrian is listed at 220 ((That's almost Penny size).

Don't bother with Cbus... remember he's the guy who KNEW the Cards were going to turn it around last season (which they didn't) and bashed and scoffed at anyone who disagreed with him (which we did).
I'd like you to find where I bashed and scoffed at anybody, not really my style. I'll wait.

Maybe I disagreed with some things you said but all that does is make me delusional.

What do you think more likely:

We win. We win no more than 6 games

Or

We win the division (I'm not even setting high bar like win the NFC or Super Bowl)
I think likely somewhere in between. I think there's a better chance they win the division than only 6 games. I think 8-8 to 10-6 but don't know if that will be good enough to win division but very well could be.

I didn't put words in your mouth, you actually said they were "delusional". My comment was a joke, I have never heard you call anybody "stupid". My bad I thought the joke was obvious and everyone could read what you actually said.
Fair enough. I deliberately do NOT call people stupid.

Ooookay. Well our conversation is done because clearly we are living in two different worlds.

What's funny is that as DJ was emerging back in 2015, and I was thinking back to the AP/Birdman/Wednesday talk from earlier that year, my thoughts turned to of what we could've had if we had gotten AP and still drafted DJ.

I was thinking it would of been great to have a Okoye/Word style running backs. Two punishing and talented rb's that could lead our rushing attack.

Well now we have AP and DJ. Now of course this can't possibly be realized until at the very least Thanksgiving, and maybe not until 2018 or maybe ever, but you know what I heard about an hour ago?

Bruce Arians was the running backs coach when Okoye and Word were together in KC.

One can hope :koolaid:

I look at their remaining schedule and I don't see many games that I would say is a sure loss. They've already played 3 east cost which they are notoriously bad at any year. They, supposedly, are getting their left side of OL back this week.
I think this week's game is huge. They need to win. But after that:
Rams in London is a 50/50 game(I know everyone thinks the Rams are good this year, I'll hold off on that for now)
at SF should win but it's a road game
Seattle at home 50/50
at Houston, who are they and they just lost Watt and Mercilus to go with Cushing being out. Road game 50/50.
Jax at home should win
Rams at home should win
Titans at home should win
at Washington should be a loss
Giants at home should win
at Seattle should be a loss

I'll say they split with the Rams and Seattle. Assuming they win this week, that's 5 wins. They beat Jax, Giants, and Titans, 8 wins. Split at SF and Hou there's 9. Win them both and it's 10.

Of course, they could lose all of them too. Because I am delusional you know :).

Thanks for being a fan Cbus -welcome to my world -haha - hope AP is given the opportunity they CJ was not - this team is not coached up or prepared to run the ball it's not even a 2nd thought it's way farther down the list - AP is a running back not a pass blocker or or pass catcher - BA has lil use for such RBs - use to back in the day - but now he would rather slaughter cardinals

He is a garbage human being, but we will see if Arians will tweak his system to fit a player like Peterson in or not.

Again, I struggle to see any great impact from adding a guy who prefers to run behind a FB, can't pass block, and can't catch passes to an offense that doesn't use a FB, and utilizes it's RBs to pass black and catch the ball out of the back field.

Hope I am wrong.

totally mystified by all the 'AP is way better than CJ" talk.

2 years ago, CJ was on track to win NFL ruching crown
2 years ago, AP had a fantastic year with the Vikings

last year CJ averaged 3.8 yds in an abbreviated season
last year AP averaged 1.9 yds in an abbreviated season

this year, CJ can run nowhere behind, perhaps the most atrocious o-line in card history (along with some of the most easy to read (by the defense) play-calling in card history) and gets a 2.5 yds avg
this year, AP gets 3.0 avg, but he is running behind a line that gets Ingram a 4.0 avg and Kamara a 5.5 avg ...
so I would say that o-line is probably light years better than ours...

and yet, CJ sucked, our running game sucked and AP is going to save the day... I am pretty sure this is a non-event, AP will suck just as bad and our running game will still suck, but, hey, it would be a joy to get surprised in the other direction for a change ...

It's the more physical nature of Peterson which is the difference and what is needed when a OL cannot get any push upfront on their own :)

That's not what I said - I don't need any help getting in trouble haha - you big sillys can't even say what BA just said - BA may not change his play calling - but he knows it's wrong and it hurts the cardinals. I wish we had AP, CJ and DJ and AE in the same backfield - but this staff is too stupid to accept that gift. We already can afford it - big play backs - might hurt BA's book sales - the death of a Cardinal whisperer
