With the oline a shambles, I think we lose this one big.

It will be the third quarter before they drop a flag on NYG. I've seen this fiddle played before. I agree with Skkorpion.

We are only missing one starter on the O-Line. Calling them a "shambles" is a bit much considering this is the first game.

We are going to tee off on Manning, just like they will tee off on Warner. We have the better D to tee off on Manning, but they have the better Run game. Low scoring game, but we win the positional battle on special teams leading to more field goals.

Giants - 13
Cards - 19

Late 4th quarter heroics aren't going to be good enough in this one.

NYG RBs run roughshot over our team and our Offense looks pretty bad. Hate to say it, but this is what is in my gut.

Skkorp, I am going to rub it in your face when you're proven wrong on this game. Our offense won't be as potent as it can be, but NY's defense isn't any good either. We'll key on the run, and though we won't be fully able to stop Barber, we'll slow him enough to make Manning beat us, and Manning definitely won't be able to do that, as he'll be on his back all day. Still, not as easy a win as I would have liked.

Card defense forces 5 turnovers, scores 7 points and sets up 10 more.

Rowan has been sandbagging.

Warner passes for 2 TD's.

Arrington's running sets up another field goal.

Shipp picks up a garbage TD late in the game.

Cards win going away - 41 -10.

(And then I woke up)

If the Cardinals can't score more than 10 points against the Giants then it will be a LONG season...I think the defense alone will be good for 7-10 points...I'm not saying the Cards are gonna win but I think the Cards will put up atleast 17-21 points...

If we lose we are a far worse football team than I thought. The Giants are not very good at all IMO. A loss for the Cards would send up a huge red flag.
To me it would be about as bad as our 2 losses to San Fran last year.

i think denny shocks the world (and me) . . .

we pull off an opening day win on the ROAD.

17-14

and the oline is in shambles. shambles doesn't just mean starters out, it means that the oline sucks regardless of who is playing.

What's cheese going to do about food money once the Cards stop being locks to cover the spread on the road? He'll be back collecting cans...

Cards D is dominating. The G-Men do not get in the end zone. The O does enough to get the win.

I can see this happening.

Or the kool aid is spiked and Warner throws for three TDs in 31-10 Cardinal romp!
