Someone please tell me who the Cards have picked up over the past, say, 5 years that have been impact players and remained healthy and productive for more than 1 season? Off the top of my head, I can't think of one so educate me. Starks? nah. OK, Dexter Jackson is good - there is one. That fullback Hodgins from the Rams, nope. Blake? Nope. Smith? Forget it.

And I'm not talking guys who fill holes and are simply bodies on the field, I mean true impact players who have made a difference!!

If someone can give me a list 10 deep at least, then I may have some faith in the Cards FA approach and I know, we have new players with Denny and Rod.

So a challenge, enlighten me to these past FA pick ups that have worked very well for the Cards!! And remember, just the past 5 years.

I'll go #1 - Dexter Jackson

Thanks guys!

Will Pete Kendell count. I know he had an injury but he has been the one good consistent OL since he has been here. Also would like to say Jones. He had pro bowl numbers last year and Jake throwing to him the other years so they dont count.:D

1> Jackson
2> Kendall
3> Jones

Has Pete Kendall completed a full season as a Card yet?

NFL.com says "no."

Kendall's probably the best FA player in the past five years or so. The fact remains that he's gone to zero Pro Bowls and never contributed 16 full games in a single season in the Valley.

Coaching I hope. This will be the first year in a long time that we have a bonafide HC calling the shots. Let's see the fire he lights under these guys and gets them performing

I also hope this HC is able to release dead weight as well. Loyalty or not, Sanders and others should have been gone years ago. Play for pay baby!!! That would mean Denny essentially becomes GM and HC or Graves starts grabbing his ankles for Green. (Sorry, the only analogy I could come up with that was reasonably clean) Should be interesting.
