I think Sproles and Hyphen are as about as close at it gets when folks talk football. One gets used much more if I remember correctly, I think if you flipped the opportunities, they are close. Same talents and weaknesses, we tried to run Howling up the middle while Sproles what put in better situations, and had more of them. I don't know what we should pay him, but I hope we can keep him here. He and PP make us a threat, even at 10 points down.

LSH had his best year last year out of the backfield. In fact, most of what he did was very key runs and catches late in games.

His coaches love him, his teammates love him, and he does whatever is asked 100%. Yeah, he's not Darren Sproles level but he his is damn important to this team. He's not going to get a crazy deal here, or anywhere else if he turns us down. But, the man definitely deserves a nice raise. Sends a strong signal to a many on the roster that if they bust their ass and find a niche, they will get taken care of.

LSH is a "glue" guy IMO. He struggles at times, but he makes up for it on other plays. I'll be very happy if we extend him, as long as it doesn't break the bank.

LSH is a weird guy, as far as football goes. Couple years ago he was superb on special teams, downing, it seemed like, every punt inside the 20. Really superb. He won us a game last year. He's terrible in the return game, anyone who thinks he can return kicks needs their head examined. But he can catch and run. He's not Sproles, that's totally ridic and the comparison is ridic. Size doesn't matter, stats matter, and he isn't all that. I'm not even sure he should be resigned. I'm not sure we can't get a better dude for what he does in the lower draft rounds. That's just my honest opinion. Probably can't pick anyone up in FA to do it, but he's not worth a lot of money, given his production.

You may be right with the new kickoff rules but LSH was all that in 2010 leading the NFL in average per kick return among players with 25 or more returns, had 6 returns of 40+ yards, T2nd in NFL, and scored 2 TDs.
