No-brainer signing if healthy. Beanie is piss-poor in pass protection and has trouble staying healthy and will probably be limited the rest of the season. God bless the hyphen but he is seriously over-worked at present and needs some assistance.

Sign THT IF healthy.

The Cards have scraped the bottom of the barrel so many times already I would think there was nothing left to scrape but apparently there is or maybe they have scrapped so much there is now a hole in the barrel.

Scene: Outside the AM/PM on Ray and Rural, night.

Cards: Hey, Tim.
THT: Hey, Cards.
Cards: So...
THT: Yeah...
Cards: Well, good seeing you.
THT: Yeah, here's your change.

...

THT: (on phone to agent) I just met with the Cards!

I bet he fumbled the change too.

You guys may knock him, but his play is one of the reasons we won that NFC championship game against Philly a few years back. His sweep on 4th down, and his screen catch TD were plays that were pivotal to us winning.

I always liked him better than Wells, I thought he was a more complete back with less injury concern, and IIRC they both fumbled about the same.

Sweet. Our D will get turnovers, and THT will fumble it right back to them..

This is ridiculous and actually pisses me off. Whiz needs to give William Powell a shot. I was really impressed with him in the pre-season and in the regular season, when he's had the chance. I don't want him buried behind two or three other running backs, which is exactly what I think Whiz will do.
I agree. Powell looked great in his start. LSH has been good but Powell should be given more carries.

WRONG. Against Buffalo he had 13 carries for 70 yards. In total this season, he has 25 carries for 105 yards, a 4.2 average, behind the worst OL in football. He's got a lot of talent. If you don't think so, you haven't been paying attention.

Agree would like to see more from him. Young players make mistakes and Whiz makes some of them really pay for it. I hope Powell gets some more carries.

Whiz is waiting for Kolb to return and will play Powell to pick up blitzes.

Since when does it take a blitz to get to our QB? Our OL takes turns giving rushers free runs at our QB.

It was a joke... it was Powell who missed the blitz pickup that almost got Kolb kilterated

I thought he messed up the play and Kolb took off running and DL landed on his shoulder. Was supposed to take the hand off I believe.

That said one vet after another screws up continually on this team and aren't treated as harshly as Powell.
