One of the few games I've ever gone to was the Holiday Bowl with Cal vs. BYU. It was Rodgers and Arrington's last games as Cal Bears and I would have bet money that Rodgers was not going to make it as a pro and Arrington would be a stud.

Rodgers' passes looked like they had no zip and he just looked like nothing special while Arrington was a man among boys, just gashing his way through the defense all day long.

Even his HC right now didn't pick him. Mccarthy wanted Alex Smith because Rodgers was a different QB back then. Even Rodgers said that himself. He pack on more muscles and got more athletic. Plus those 3 years behind Favre really helped. Smith and Rodgers are great friends BTW.

Why does Weinart throw those passes for 1 yard?

Warner is one of the, if not the best, QB ever at getting the ball out in a hurry. I've said for 2 years that the Cards with their worthless offensive line realized that he was the only QB that could survive behind that line. That arena league experience has come in really handy.

I'd bet that the Cards could just go get 5 free agents to play Oline next year and we wouldn't notice any difference. Almost as bad as the Rams oline.

Rodgers was the best QB in the Pac 10 when he was there, including Leinart.

He had an NFL arm and he could run, but too many people thought he was a system QB because Tedford had a rep for that.

They haven't had a good QB since Rodgers left.

Smith, was a system QB, the spread, Rodgers played in a much more traditional pro style offense.

I'm sorry, I just do not buy the whole "This game gives GB a HUGE pyschological edge for next week" like Howie Long and the color commentater are trying to say...

There should be as much stock placed on this game as the 4th preseason game

But unfortunantly that is ALL WE ARE GOING TO HEAR this week from the experts, which sucks...
