The other team has to play in the weather too.

However, I'm having trouble seeing how we keep this one close.

The other team is acclimated to that weather. They live there and many of their players have played in similar conditions in that stadium several times.

Cards will win. ESPN goes into panic mode over the prospect of neither NE or Dallas making the playoffs.

Did anyone see Kurt's comments about the weather on ESPN this morning? "It's a shock to the system" were his words. The excuses for another loss have already been made. If you got extra money laying around bet the ranch on the Pats.

Yeah, I saw the comments. I made reference to them in 'sexy' thread, cuz I didn't think they were sexy.

Since the team recieved their door prizes of hats and tee shirts after the Lambs game they have turned into an embaresment. THere is no motivation or desire to do any better and they have set themselves up for a quick exit in the playoffs. THey could well limp into the post season at 8-8. All in all a sorry end to a promising season

I'm hoping for a "moral" victory of some sort, but realistically that is not going to happen. There is something wrong with this team and it goes way beyond just last weekend.

In many ways the last 5 weeks reminds me of the 2000 team that went 3-13 and just got blown out week after week toward the end of the year. Each week, us fans would lick our wounds and predict that the team would show some heart. It never happened and we continued to get pounded on the road.

Remember the Jacksonville game in 2000. That was the game that the Jaguars scored a touchdown on every possession. Seven possessions and seven touchdowns (49-13 victory). Dave McGinnis in his post game press conference said that he was encouraged by what he saw on the field.

I hope to be terribly wrong about today, but I fully expect a similar type of game and similar result.

Cant see a ton of points going up by either team because of the weather.

As much as I'd love an upset, which would energize us entering the playoffs, and as much as I'll be cheering and screaming at my TV, we get embarassed. We come out competetive and keep it close, but our lack of offense kills us in this game late.

Sure there is something wrong with the Car*s. They clinched the division over a month ago. There are many examples of teams not playing well once they get things wrapped up. The 2004 Eagles got to 13-1 then proceeded to get beat 20-7 and 38-10 the last two games of the regular season. That was the Philly team that lost by 3 to NE in the SuperBowl.

The Giants haven't exactly been playing gangbusters the last two weeks with the division clinched and the deciding game this weekend. Watch NY turn it on against Carolina.

Now those two are examples of teams with playoff experience. The Car*s have guys who have been on the team for 6 years without ever even having experienced a winning season. They'll be back next Sunday.

And just to add some more sugar to the kool-aid, the Cowboys were so afraid of playing the Car*s in the AZ that they gave up back to back 70+ yard TD runs to make sure they didn't get the 5 seed.

Warner has multiple turnovers and we average about 2 yds a pop while we try to run.
