C'mon, Harry, you're better than that. The old "They'll be just like new signings" shtick is always a joke whatever the sport--I hear it more in soccer but I'm reading it now. No, they'll be like players we already had coming back off injury. They will not be like "getting" extra players. In some cases, we're these are players that weren't playing well at all.
DRob is a huge question mark and we have no way of knowing if he'll have a decent impact. He's behind and is almost a rookie. We hope he'll be good but we don't know. Ojulari is on the ragged edge (no pun intended) of bustdom. All the injured players are returning to practice and play, sure, but will not fill the holes in the roster. Those holes are still there. Those players are already being accounted for. They're not like new signings.
These types of phrases always presage excuses for management of a team not being active in fixing their roster or squad. I don't like reading it here.
