only one series from Skelton? Is Wiz afraid that if he has another good drive and the O-line still looks good, he'll have no choice but to start him?

The starters were in until they figured it out. ;)

I'm honestly thinking Whiz is keeping the Skel top shelf.

I hope so, but the man is stubborn as the day is long.

I know Urban will probably be the only man in America to argue otherwise, but I just don't see how anyone else can say this job shouldn't belong to Skelton. You have a team that went 7-2 with him last year down the stretch (yes, the OVERWHELMING majority of it due to the D/ST, but still, he was at the helm), he's played better in every game of the pre-season, he's tougher and the team just seems to play better when he's in there. what, besides a HUGE contract and giving up two big assets, is the argument for Kolb starting at this point?

Wow Graves is really spilling the beans on the Kevin Kolb question. Said he thinks they need more consitency, and they have more time to tell. I'm buying my skeleton costume this weekend, old school karate kid style, who's with me?

If Skeleton gets hurt, we are basically down to Lindley or Bartel within a couple games. Kolb just gets hit. Whiz might be protecting Skelton better than our O-line can.

Well, the good news for Kolb is Graves said they are looking for consistency, and Kolb has certainly been the more consistent QB.

AW, Bethel, PP, Williams, Bradley and Skelton all get big thumbs up from me tonight.

solid performance.

now just name Skelton the starter, let the team know what's what and start preparing for the regular season in earnest and end this QB question once and for all... well, until Skelton inevitably starts sucking eggs.

The Cardinals are having a bad case of can't tackle.

A-Dub also had a solid night. And of course R Williams...

Oh...dude, I have a whole post coming about how Adub set the tone. Early in the game, Adub was in on every play. Every single play. Adub has my ultimate respect.

Williams as the power early. Nice cuts and power to get the TD. First game back he played exceptionally.

I wonder if the Vaders kept Leenart out while our starters were still in there, we probably had some kind of bounty. :D

Agree with everything except Skelton will start sucking. He made 2 or 3 nice flat passes, and those are his hardest, most difficult passes to make. For a dude like him, and knowing his history, those are difficult, and he made them both. One for a TD.

I do agree that after today they should name Skelton the starter, but I don't think they will. They'll still keep hoping Kolb pans out. It's what they're going to do.
