Whiz doesn't play defense and quite frankly neither does our personnel.

Everyone here said Leinart had to be cut he can only checkdown. Look at the number of completions (almost equal) and yards above. How could Leinart do worse than 7 completions 56 yards 3.3 avg?

There's several problems here.

One, after Clancy left we settled on a cruddy DC that I never thought anything of.

Two, after Haley left we didn't find a good OC to replace him, Whis might have been a good OC in Pittsburg but I'm not a fan of his play calling here.

Three, our starting QB needs an upgrade to put it mildly.

Four, we need some more talent on D.

Five, our Oline isn't in real sync or very good, either one, Duce is good, other than that, it's pretty bad.

Fix all that and then we're talking.

This is why QB is the most important position in the NFL.

Even the defense wouldn't look so bad if it wasn't constantly on the field. 80 plays per game is going to result in points.
