Brilliant move on the coaching staff's part to leave Baltimore a full 2 minutes to win the game. Did anyone not see this coming?

no it was a cheap shot to the head....
I won't deny that it COULD have been called but lets back things up for a minute. During the Cards final drive, does anyone remember Warner throwing a ballbehind #83 (forgot his name) and Ray Lewis laying him out, almost breaking him in half, after he had clearly missed the catch? If that wasn't going to be called as hitting a "helpless receiver" then why the call on Wilson, when the guy in fact not only got his hands on the ball, but caught it?

i'm not sure what the exact rule is but it looked like aw used his shoulder on the hit.....i thought it was only a penalty if you used your helmet.

The ref called it a forearm to the head and maybe in real time it looked that way, but in slow mo it appears that the forearm contacted Heap's shoulder. I would have to see Lewis hit on Beinemen(sp) again, though.

Man, this board is almost impossible to post on during a Cardinals game, so sloowww.... It was a great comeback, really had me excited, but a tough one to lose. :( This team is looking pretty good though. Whisenhunt could do some good things here, but losses like this really wear on you. Leinart has not been very impressive this season. I'm starting to worry about him.

That dumb penalty by Adrian Wilson made the difference though. Can't believe he did that. Of course the defense is to blame too. They just failed to stop the run, which was a bit surprising since they have been so good. And if we can't stop the run, there's no way we'll win relying on the secondary.

Warner-Quan was a great combo. It was nice to see. Hopefully Leinart learned from that.

Let's hope having two former Steelers coaches will help us next week. Not much hope for the playoffs this year, but I think we're closer than ever.

That was exactly my thought. Lewis led with his shoulder and crushed a guy, which looked to me like the exact same thing Wilson did.

15 free yards at that point in the game just about ends the game. Very tough break.
