Watching the Rezone and they just showed a stat since 2004 every team that swept their division went on to the Super Bowl. Last year we and the Steelers did it. THis year the Bengals did it. I wouldn't mind seeing the Bengals in it.

and who is better Vince Young or Leinart???? 400 yard passing and he leads a must 99 yd drive to beat us.....

If Leinart was going against our defense he probably could have done the same thing. I'm sorry but 1) you're not a cardinal fan, you're a Warner fan and 2) our defense was the reason for this loss NOT THE @#$%ING QB.

Missed tackles and blown coverages galore (they went underneath the entire final drive and noone seemed to notice). Honestly we're lucky they didn't score more points against us

We just can't stop anyone when the chips are down.

I don't like to whine about officiating, but I'm not sure why they killed our last drive with a holding penalty and couldn't find one on TN the entire game. Especially since some of it was pretty blatant.

What kind of defense do we have? This isnt the first time we faltered with the game on the line. Billy Davis is misusing our defense no more or less than Pendy. Not 1 real blitz once they got past the 20.

How about the damn rushing 3 when we had them pinned. How about using the same type of blitzes instead of changing them. How about the pathetic play calling in the 1st half.

Big BQ!
We should have stopped them on that last play!!! We lost some calls against Leinart getting hit in the head going uncalled, holding penalties not called, and it was still a "Pretty close game"

YES, the Refs screwed the team but it doesnt matter! HTF does a defense let a team convert 4th down plays on the final drive of the game and not defend the sidelines to not allow WRs to just waltz out of bounds to preserve thier timeouts...

That was a blatant hold. That clearly prevented a sack or at least a hit on Young.

However, look at the defensive personnel. There isn't enough pass rushing talent on this unit to stop teams from doing that.

Lets stop complaining about Davis and whatnot. The talent to get the passer just is not there.

The problem is an offensive penalty at that point in the game ends the game because they count time off the clock.

So not calling that hold changed the game, if they call it, the game is over by rule.

The more I see it, the more disgusted I get. That was so blatant, and clearly, without a doubt prevented a sack.

Just disgusting.

Calling a hold at the end of the game is like a foul in the final seconds in an NBA game. It won't happen. Refs put away their whistles in the final seconds. But I can't see how some of you are trying to blame the refs. The fact that they went 5/5 on 4th downs and drove 99 yards in all the defense.

The point is, the defense lost this game.

Ten bucks the League will "Apologize" to the Cardinals for a non call on BLANTANT holding...

Still HTF does the team let that catch happen?

We need to draft a stud OLB next draft. Trade up for one its all we are missing.

if we dont draft 4 LB'ers next season it will be a huge mistake. A big time FA would be nice.

Berry, Chike & Dansby will be gone. Highsmith is a spare, Haggans is solid but older, Hayes is very solid & then we have 2 rooks. Depressing!!!

Agreed. The one that stands out for me is the 4th and 4 near the Titans end zone when McFadden Had his back to the ball once again.

Did they call PI in the Lions game last week? No excuse not to make the call.

I would have more respect for a ref to have the balls to make the call that is deserved.

Right on Ed. It is getting to be a bad habit. Last year and this year. Either almost blow the lead or actually blow it. If Britt doesn't fumble the Titans would have likely had a 98 yard TD drive to win earlier. A major ***** in coach Whisenhunt's armor.

Notice that Dansby was out. A preview of what our defense will be like without him?

We just lost a game by giving up a 99 yard drive to a team with the worst QB, according to ASFN posters, in the NFL. Vince Young is a friggin magician.

I would, too. Can you imagine the reaction? "Holding Offense. By rule the game is over." Refs didn't want any part of that.

They did it to us on a false start by Leonard Davis against the Rams at SDS a few years ago.

When the hold happens a foot from the QB and would result in a total change in the outcome of the play, the call needs to be made.
