May as well bring in Trent Green and Tony Banks so we can have all the old Rams QB's. What's Joe Germaine doing thses days?

Bulger is a very average QB.

(+) Intelligent,quick release.

(-) Arm strength,mobility,leadership

IMO not the direction AZ needs to explore.

He's got better arm strength than you think. His accuracy would be much better than Anderson's which would net us many more scoring chances.

He is old and crusty, with our O-line, Bulger doesn't make it a whole season. Can we get some body that doesn't qualify for medicare in the next decade.

If this is true, and they think he will solve the QB problem, the entire front office needs to be fired immediately.

fine: name a free agent QB that is demonstrably better.

nowhere did Jurecki's post say "and the front office thinks he is the QB of the future!"

from Jurecki's tweet -- it sounds like the plan is "find available vet QB to take care of the position until a QB we draft is ready".

Is there really any other alternative?

We are going to sign a free agent qb in the off season but just don't know who that will be. They must fix the qb problem. I also think they will draft one with a high pick.
The Board will be starting threads on every qb rumor as we all know that is the biggest (but not only) problem with the team. Bulger is the latest, there will be more.

I am not a Bulger fan myself, he is brittle and hasn't had success in years. Just because he played in the same system as Kurt Warner does NOT make him Kurt Warner and that is the trap I am afraid people are falling in.

Bulger is a fantastic QB when given great protection, extremely accurate, probably more so than Warner. But, when throwing with average to terrible pass protection, he is a below average NFL QB. If Russ Grimm is going to be your OL coach next year, you are wasting money and time.

Bulger with Hall/Skelton behind him? I don't like.

Bulger with Mallett/Newton/Locker behind him? Getting warmer. Though I worry about Locker.

Bulger with Luck behind him? I like.

LMFAO.

Typical Whisenhunt. I bet he does make this move even if Luck is on the board because that is what Whis does. Bad draft. Bad free agents. Bad personnel guy. It is what it is.

Bulger was pretty damn good (as was Warner) before the constant beat down received behind the Rams offensive line broke him down. Getting sacked on average 3 times a game, every game does that to a quarterback.

Bulger would allow Whizenpass to actually run the offense he is apparently hell bent on running.

Bulger + a different DC and we would be walking this division this year.

I'm guessing that Roman Gabriel might have some time on his hands...

Orton is my first choice for a vet QB, but I'd smile too if we landed Kolb.

I'd even package Adub to get either.

I would give up on being a Cardinal fan if this happened and that is almost impossible. This move would make me sick to my stomach.

As a Rams fan I would love to see ya get Bulger, But it would be a bad move on the Cards part.

Manning has yet to sign an extension here in Indy and a lot of fans are grousing about his supposed "poor play." (Yeah, I think they're idiots, too).

If we're going to have pipe dreams about Luck, why not shoot higher? If the Colts F-tag Peyton I'd give up two firsts for him.
