Isn't everything at this point a rumor or somebody's idea?

Yes but there is a big difference between rumor and just some writer posting an idea of his. A rumor is based on some sort of evidence where as an idea is based on "out of thin air".

Doesnt even make sense financially. Cards want to trade for a restricted free agent that will cost way more then Boldin would have 2 years ago. Marshall is going to ask for bank and at the age of 25 with his resume he will get itm he will get Fitzgerald money. Cards arent going to pay for that.

What good would it do? Marshall wants the same exact thing Q wants, a new contract. So we trade one disgruntled player for an even more disgruntled player and we still have to cough up huge dollars for a #2 receiver....

If we trade Q we need to get a draft pick, LB or CB IMO.

Anyways, most of the insider ESPN rumors are contrived, which is why no one ever posts them.

Boldin has been rumored to be traded to every team in the league for just about every impact player. Chad Johnson was supposed to come here. Terrel Suggs. Lito Sheppard. etc etc etc

so many dimensions where this just doesnt fit the Cards style:

1. They value high character guys. Brandon Marshal doesnt make the cut.
2. The only reason Q would be shopped is due to contract -- and Marshal wants a new one as well.

3. Trades require a degree of aggressiveness that Graves hasn't shown before.

Bigot?!

Where in my comment did I make a racist remark? Unless you consider Denver Bronco Fans a minority culture.

A bigot isn't exclusively a racist. rather it is one who is strongly partial to one's own group, and is intolerant of those who are new or different.

I guess because I haven't wasted half my life on this forum, I am unqualified to discuss the Cardinals or football in general. Or to bring up a concept that might be tossed around for some civil discussion during the long off season.

People like you are the reason why I refrained from posting so long.

The connotation behind bigot is one who makes remarks that are tied to racism. Call be a jerk, prick, ***hole etc. But to call me a bigot is completely baseless and beyond offensive.

I have a problem with people who start threads about a trade brewing when all it is is a local writer bored to death playing snood on his computer trying to come up with a catchy story. As football karma suggested, this trade holds no water for many reasons.

So if you don't like me, I would not mind if you continue to refrain from posting.

Judging from the quality of your original post in this thread, I hope you think of him every time you get ready to post from here on out

Yeah, the original post was going to be about the Cardinals from a beat writer in another city or a real compelling neato-guido post about a quality pre-combine mock draft. Because those are so quality when they spring up like weeds.

Like your signature, tho.

lol, this is straight up fantasy football. if that sort of miracle happened, I don't even know what I would do. I personally love Marshall and think a lot of his attitude has to do with the poison in the clubhouse the last 2 years.

I'm just guessing here, but I think the Cardinals are using Boldin as a chip to trade up in the draft to address the LB position. That would make the most sense. It would be a little funny to send Boldin and the Cards' 26th pick to the Chiefs for the 5th pick -- reunite Boldin with his sparring mate. Cards draft Rolando McClain or Derrick Morgan.

Yea... I dunno Joe. Maybe the Cards want to rid themselves of a malcontent and obtain a higher-character guy in Marshall.... uh, wait a second..... :bang:

Boldin would be a great #2 to pair with Dwayne Bowe.
