Why? That is just utter stupidity.

Can't run the ball, can't stop the run ... you cannot win consistently in this league. Period.

But hey the QB position was all that was wrong with this team, right?

It's the first game alright and the same problems are still there.

OUR OLINE STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That and we matchup against a power run team poorly, that's being kind.

The problems aren't going away this year.

We are done

I dunno Conrad. I know one player doesn't make a Line but getting Leckey and then Step back should hopefully make a signifigant difference. Plus isn't it true that the more games a new OL plays together the greater likelihood that they gel? Who know maybe the key to the OL this year will be merely staying healthy?

That's what really frustrates me, I understand we needed help but they fixed everything but what was the MAIN problem our Oline.

It got just abused.

Sickening.

Josh got all the blame and of course it was obviously all is fault :sarcasm:

Ive had enough. You cant win without any running game. Now the passing game is too predictable and with no time outs a comeback is highly improbable. Just too many weaknesses which were exposed today. At least we have a real NFL quarterback to bring out Fitz's potential.

The last thing in the world they needed to do was come out and lay and egg of this nature. All of the pre-season talk is menaingless if they are going to give games away. Maclin is dreadful and their special teams play can't be described. Can you imagine being off-sides on the kick-off twice in one game?

This game looks to be over. But it would be the ultimate knee jerk reaction to quit on this team.

Wolfley just said the whole problem is the inability to run. Now I realize we can't run at all today but the Giants got 3 TD's because of the bomb to burress', Warner's bad pick, and a KO return, how did ANY of that have anything to do with our inability to run?

I usually really agree with Wolfley and sure we have to be able to run better but we fell behind because we gave them 21 points in about 6 plays counting a kickoff.

Oh well Seattle lost, the Rams are losing, so unless we're only 1 game out of first if we can't come back.

FYI the Rams defense looks horrible and the 49ers are killing their OL they have 6 sacks already.

That was a bad throw Ash. But Warner and Fitzgerald carried this offense today. You can't really blame them when they so many aspects failed today.

They had short drives on the two possessions and they RAN IT DOWN OUR THROATS.
