I would say half of NY's points are off our absolute crap house special teams play. Words cannot begin to describe how atrocious they have been.

I'm trying to hold back the explenatives.

Will Green pull a "Wylie" on the special teams coach?

I remind everyone the first Superbowl win by the Pats in the 3 in 4 years started with a blowout that had them labelled the worst team in football.

God, hard to listen to I can't imagine how hard to watch.

So did the '98 season. But I'm afraid that this time they are just too small without enough speed to make up for it on defense and horrible on the offensive line with no decent RB AGAIN. No depth. I thought they had heart but now I don't know as that really shows up on special teams which once again are horrible.

It has to be 9/11. The whole team failed to show up for the 2nd half. No other explanation.

Worse then awful. This is hard to watch. I am unhappy about the way they played, but what really hurts is that they quit after the kick-off return. This is wrose then garbage time. The giants look like a Super Bowl team and the truth is they are not good, we stink today.

honestly, i'm 27 years old. i've been a card fan for 27 years. male life expectancy is around 76. i've got 49 or so years (minus the last two where i don't know who or where i am). can i realistically expect a super bowl win in the next 49 years? honestly?

We're losing by 23 and our offense has scored 12 points. Thats not helping, he carried us to where we are ... getting our asses kicked

Come on dude, get real. We have had no ground game and our kick coverage units have been atrocious all day, not only in field postion, but they have also given up 2 kick retruns for TD's.

There is alot of blame to go round, but man, there is no way you can put this on Warner. That is just crazy.

Unfortunately the ST are going to mask the real problems with this team which is the O line and no running game. Warner throwing 100 times a game is great for fantasy geeks but horrible for winning.

Like I said it doesn't all go on Warner. This was a horrid outing all the way around.

You just said he was a reason we were in the game. We weren't in the game after the 1st half ended

dave pasch just now: "we can't even run when the giants are expecting us to pass."

That is disturbing. A one yard loss on a 2nd and 10 against a dime defense.

Good news is that we're going to have great seats in the new stadium -- all 3,000 of us!!!

And if we didn't have Warner, we could be looking at a shut out. As I said, alot of blame to go round. But Kurt Warner and our recieving corps are not even worth mentioning right now.

This loss is firmly on a) the offensive line and b) special teams.

It is just plain insanity how awful they where today.

Yes I agree, and someone needs to lose their job on ST. I want to see someone in tears because their family is going hungry.

I know you can't just take away what the ST's have done. But man, without those two run backs, the score is 28 - 19.

And it's kind of sad that our leading rusher is Kurt. Oh dear...

Bill Maas is trying to prop up the Card faithful hopes, saying we will get it together. I'll try to forget the same things were said about McGinnis, Tobin, Ryan, etc.

I agree with him completely that the KO return was the game turner.
