The Jaguars won by doing things the Cardinals a incapable of doing.

They ran the ball mostly and passed very little. Therefore protecting their inexperienced QB and not letting everything rest on his shoulders.

The Cards coaches never adjust their pass first game plan. They also will have a hurting Beanie, either getting limited carries or out all together. Kolb (the Cards inexperienced QB) is not ready to have everything on his shoulders and yet they will throw him to the wolves...again. How do you think the Cards O-tackles are going to fair against the Ravens pass rush? How do you think Kolbs happy feet are going to look with Suggs, Lewis, Kruger, and Ngata bearing down?

The Jags also won by playing inspired. When is the last time you saw the Cards play that way...especially on the road?

The Jags also played amazing D. They unexpectedly put consistent pressure on Flacco and have a very stout interior D-line that shut down the Ravens running game. When is the last time you saw the Cards do something unexpectedly good? The Cards also do not have a stout run stuffing interior D-line or any ability to put consistent pressure on QB's.

End result: The Cards are going to get demolished.

Kolb will have his best game of the year.

And yes, I am a confident homer with a big glass of Kool-aid right next to me.

This is a blowout loss... something like 33 to 10.

Love the optimism. The Cards always win one game they aren't supposed to win they suck. This, I fear, is not that game.

What ever you are drinking is stronger than kool-aid my man. This week could be the beginning of the beginning or the beginning of the end.

My question today is will Kolb start every game this year? Should he start every game this year? He has been so bad he is not even part of the conversation with writers or TV analyst. It is like he does not exist. He was all the talk before we signed him. Now all the talk is about a team that has won one game and has Cam Newton, a rookie, as their QB. I read next to nothing about Kolb. Either good or bad. He might as well not exist.

Who cares about the media/who's talking about him.

I can give you 63 million reasons that kevin kolb (barring injury) is playing every snap the next 2 years at least

Cards lose 31-14 and Kolb has his worst game so far, 14-30, 170 yards, 1 TD, 3 Int... and almost everyone here will continue to blame the O-line.

So you think the O-Line is fine? You think it's OK that as soon as the ball is snapped, 3 defenders are bearing down on Kolb? Hell, Tom Brady would be pedestrian behind this offensive line.

Indy's OL was never that great but team were afraid to come after Manning because he would burn them. Warner was the same way to a lesser extent. So the O-line may not be fine but a good QB who can get rid of the ball effectively will neutralize a blitz.

manning and warner are hall of fame qb's.....

Bottom line is both Kolb AND the OLine suck

the run blocking is ok but pass protection is suspect at best and Kevin Kolb does not have good field vision and at times cannot hit wide open targets

What you have here folks is a perfect storm of suck

Or we could run the triple option, wing, or whatever offense Georgia Tech is running these days and rush the ball 95% of the time :D. Hey didn't Whiz go to GTech  ?

It is iffy enough for a player to guarantee a win. For someone without any control over the outcome at all, it's just silly.

When Kolb stops missing wide open guys over the middle, starts moving forward after his drop back and not running backwards (with or without pressure), and begins to show he has the slightest ability to read a blitz, if he begins to show competence in those areas THEN I think the line might be able to be properly evaluated, because the way Kolb is playing he would make any line look like crap.
