coach not happy about feely 's performances
Nice.
Accountability.
Special teams has been beat out 3 games in a row.
Oh FFS.
Not that I disagree, but does this mean he's happy with Batiste and Massie? That he's happy with the guards as well?
Accountablity my arse. We aren't beating down doors to find OL options, but we are bringing in a kicker after Feeley misses one and has a gamewinner tipped after hitting a 61 yarder? Insanity.
Whiz:
Kicker misses 2 FG's. Replace him
T's give up 30 sacks.
give em another week
Agreed.
But, to be fair, Chris Williams was brought in for a look. Why the Cardinals didn't sign him ? Well.....they are the Cardinals they just don't do things like that, and thus, they have more losing seasons than most.
For those hammering about not bringing in OL--name some names.
The thing about offensive linemen who can be effective in this system is that they don't grow on trees. Kickers who can make 85% of their attempts and boot it out of the endzone on kickoffs do.
who says anything about dropping Feely, maybe Brown is being brought in to make sure of something Feely struggles with...kicking touchbacks on kickoffs
This. Feely was barely reaching the goal line in a dome.
Let it go.Why should that be a problem now? I noted that Feely was struggling on kickoffs in the 2011 preseason and was shouted down by Shane, 40yearfan, and others that Feely's noodle leg was a strategic choice to ensure that the kickoff team got meaningful reps.
It's about field goals. Whis doesn't have faith in Feely, and with the offense this bad, you need to have a kicker you can rely on.
Let it go.
Ha ha. I am the same way. I am just wrong a lot.I NEVER forget the times that I'm right and get yelled at about it. This prescience is a gift and a curse! NEVER FORGET!
yeah... last three weeks Feely's missed three pretty makeable field-goals, right? in the first half against the Rams, the game-winner against Miami and the gift at the end of the first half against Minny. Now, he has an INSANE 61 yarder in there as well, but with a team who's points are at a premium, Feely's got to make those kicks that are within 40-45 yards.
