I thought the offensive line did all right last night. They were set on not letting Peppers get to Palmer, and I think they managed that.
The run game was okay; disappointing, but I think the Packers run D is good.
You're kidding, right? The run game was abysmal, far from okay, the Packers haven't been known for having a good run D, Peppers did get to Palmer--in fact, a lot of them got to Palmer--and, basically, the offensive line looked confused and lost. Why is Veldheer taking a hard step forward on pass pro, while letting his opponent blow past outside him? Granted, the Packer D schemed extremely well, but if we're a SB caliber team, we need to be able to adjust to that. We didn't seem to adjust at all, and our OL seemed to play without heart. Even on the long Fitz catch in OT, the OL failed Palmer, and he should have been sacked. We're not going to win a SB with that kind of OL play.
