Gotta agree that Palmer is a big problem right now. Really thought he'd resemble his old self throwing to the stable of receivers in AZ but he's way off with his passes. Badly missed Fitz all day long not to mention the bad picks.

He's always thrown picks at times though so I really wonder why his usual accuracy has left him?

Because he's old and PLAYS FOR THE CARDINALS.

Russ called it at least two weeks ago, Palmer will not step up to make a throw. His picks and high passes all come off his back foot. Dudes confidence is gone, toast, hasta. Start prepping the number 2 cause that's what this seasons offense is presenting. Somebody please give me a courtesy flush...

Palmer has made awful throws. He's thrown interceptions and missed wide open receivers.

One could make the argument that Levi Brown was the culprit early on but that is no longer the case. It's not the receivers. They have been open. It's clearly Palmer.

I'm not saying Stanton is the answer but he's the better option as of now.

He isn't what I had hoped for, but he is still playing week in and week out which is an improvement over years past. I am not sold on Stanton are am content with Palmer through the end of this year. At least we know he isn't the answer going forward. QB in round 1 of next years draft.

He's terrible, yes. However, no QB will produce anything worthy behind this line. We need to install the line before we put any QB back there

I don't know what game you watched today, but this offensive line gave Palmer a pocket, AND time to throw all day.

This. Palmer gives us the best chance to win. Yes, like Max Hall it takes him throwing a first-quarter INT (or two) to settle in. But he's better than Drew Stanton (trust me). We just get to see Steve Keim have a hand in identifying ANOTHER quarterback next season.

John Skelton
Max Hall
Kevin Kolb
Ryan Lindley
Drew Stanton
Carson Palmer.

Round and round and round we go, where it'll stop--probably 5-11.

Welp if we end up 5-11 we'll most likely have our choice at a top rated 1st round QB.

Palmer never met a pick six he didn't like. That's been the apex of his entire career. The guy will put up the yards, he'll throw touchdowns, but he'll throw an alarming number of interceptions. He's too far in the game to change.

Yeah but saying...hey he's crap.....he is just not as crappy as some of our previous crap.....still doesn't change the fact he belongs with all the other manure in the yard.

Down by two TDs and facing a prevent D

Not quite that bad but bad still. Nearly 3000 yards last year when behind, only 282 when ahead. They didn't list tied but I think we can assume it's about 700 yards. over 400 attempts when behind last year rating of 89.

This isn't the same guy as last year but it IS the same guy as the year before. Palmer came out of retirement and in 10 games threw 16 picks, next year 14 in 250 MORE attempts. He knew the offense and he wasn't rusty.

He's not rusty now so it has to be not knowing the offense and the players but I'm sorry but that's why you prefer veteran experienced QB's in the first place, that stuff is supposed to not bother them as much.

Karson Kolb. Minus the injuries. So far anyway. God, our offensive line is horrendous.

I take back all the mean things I ever wrote about Russ Grimm. The Arizona Cardinals are simply not allowed by the NFL by-laws to have a decent offensive line.

The first call I heard when I got in my car was "Palmer throws off his back foot"...and I knew one of the next words would be "intercepted."

He is becoming a cancer. There will be players quitting on him after this week if they haven't already.

Kevin Kolb comes to Arizona and turns into total crap. The late round QBs we drafted got worse withe every pass they threw. Carson Palmer comes to Arizona and turns into total crap. Matt Leinart comes to Arizona and turns into total crap. How the hell did Warner ever escape the Cardinal QB curse?

That's because they were all crap to begin with. Warner is the only exception. He was our Tom Brady.
