On Monday somebody is going to break their losing streak as the Cavaliers visit the Suns.

Cavaliers (19-58) have lost five games in a row with their last loss coming at the hands of the Clippers 132-108 on Saturday. When they face the Suns it will be the second game of a five game road trip for the Cavaliers.

Suns (17-60) have lost six games in a row losing to the Grizzlies 120-115 on Saturday as well.

Only two games separate the teams in vying for the second worst spot in the standings. The Suns presently own the second worse record while the Cavaliers have the third worse record. Of course the Knicks own the bottom spot.

The game will be televised on FSAZ. Start is 7 p.m. Arizona time.

Five games remain in the Suns season.

The Cavs are a very poor defensive team. Booker could very well have another monster game in this one.

Suns need Johnson for this one. They have to have another NBA-level player in order to win. With Oubre out for the season, Johnson is the only one left.

I would think Holmes will return for this. He had a migraine for the Grizzlies game and it's unlikely he's still suffering from that tomorrow. Of course the Cavs aren't big like Memphis but having Holmes could be vital if Ayton doesn't play. Has there been any news on his ankle and if he's being shutdown? Not much for him to play for other than getting reps but you don't want him to aggravate his ankle in meaningless games even more.

Sitting Booker would free time for Jimmer. He would be going for 50 every game. LOL

Yep. I bet if a playoff spot was on the line, all of these guys except maybe Oubre would play.
Need to anchor into top three slot as much as possible. We lose this one and it’s difficult to end up with third worst record.

The Suns should finish no worse than the third worst record unless they do something crazy.

The second place Suns are two games ahead of the third place Cavaliers in the reverse standings.

The fourth place Bulls are 21-56 and the Suns are 17-60 with five games to go.

After the Cavaliers the Suns play Utah, New Orleans, @Houston, @ Dallas.

Of course the Knicks are in the bottom spot.

This loss would cement the 2nd spot in the reverse standings, just like the game against the bulls was this one's an important one to lose, that and with the team down to like 3 guys they really shouldn't win anyway

Only five games to go. Why in the world they don't sit Warren for the rest of the season is beyond me.
Agreed. No one would even remember him at this juncture if they didn’t keep providing “Nope still not playing” updates.

Maybe he could raise his trade value a little with a few big games to end the season. He will likely have plenty of usage if/when he comes back.

It's what I was hoping, that his return would raise his trade value. However, if he waits much longer it may not be worth it as it takes awhile to get in game shape.

I guess showing he is healthy is something.

Some interesting facts from NBA.com.

Mikal Bridges needs just two three-pointers to become the first rookie in Suns history and the 11th rookie in NBA history with 100-plus three-pointers and 100-plus steals.

Jamal Crawford (11,149) passed Dell Curry (11,147) for the second-most career points off the bench in NBA history, trailing only Lou Williams.

Deandre Ayton (729) passed Alvan Adams (727) for the most rebounds in a rookie in Suns history
