How do you not foul right here??? Only 5 seconds left and up by 3. No chance at all for an and1. Foul him and the game is over. I will never understand not fouling when up 3 with only 5 seconds left, especially when the opportunity is this blatant:

Ayton’s lack of aggresiveness is killing the team.

I think Igor’s offense is magnifying the problem.

Please get a PG...please. Cannan is a solid backup PG but the C’s just doubled Booker off Cannan and left him open without a care. It’s painful to watch Book try and do everything down the stretch with no reliable ball handler on the floor to help out.

I'm really not liking having Ayton setting picks 6 feet beyond the 3 point line. That needs to be done at the 3 point line.

I really think that is the big problem with the blender offense we're running is that they are running it way too far out. It eliminates the threat of the 3 pointer if the defender goes under the screen. Ayton tries to dive to the rim, but he's too far out and the defense can rotate. Ayton is worthless that far out.

how could we expect anything more
with Canaan again playing the 2nd most minutes of any player on either team!
and taking shots in crunch-time
and leaving his man open for the shot that sent it to OT

the only difference between Suns 2017 and 2018
is that this year we're relying heavily on Canaan
and last year we we're relying heavily on Canaan and Mike James

ridiculous
i want Igor out

Well James Jones said he didn't care about wins or losses just players getting better. Maybe by 2025 we can contend for the 8th seed

Would’ve much rather seen Crawford out there in crunch time, and that’s saying something.

Have been a huge Ayton proponent but he looks clueless and lackadaisical a lot of the time and that's not good. He just doesn't have a killer instinct like Booker. I hope it can be developed.
As much as I like Booker, his first few games where almost as bad, plus he didn't even start cracking the rotation until injuries.

OK, honestly, before the game started everyone was thinking we were going to lose by 30. People were going to not watch. We ran out of steam. we played against a better team that we just could not hang with for four quarters.

Devin Booker is a fourth year player. Let's not forget Ayton is a rookie who could use a point guard.

I do understand that, but I want to see Ayton being aggressive, playing hard, calling for the ball, backing someone down to the rim in crunch time. I don't care if he misses the shot, just want to see the effort. I don't think you have to be a veteran to want to win.

Yeah, it seems to me that a lot of the problem so far is the coaching in general and specifically, how poorly they are utilizing Ayton. Some of that is due to the absolutely awful PG. I know Canaan has been producing some scoring, but his play otherwise (passing and defense) has been largely lamentable.

I know it's still early in Kokoskov's head coaching career, but so far, I'm not encouraged.

Stop. The lack of plays being run for Ayton is disgusting. This is on Igor and having no PG.

I wish he had a little bit of rookie Stoudemire's desire to dunk on everyone.

I don't think it's Ayton idea to be play so far away from the basket.

The constant pick and roll above the 3 point line is definitely not the best usage of Ayton. Especially since he never gets passed the ball when he rolls, it just becomes an awkward jog to the basket for everyone involved and ends up with a bad shot or pass.

He did that multiple time, Cannon would just dribble and pass the ball back to the top of the key.

There’s no difference between Igor and Steve Wilks. Both are clearly operating on the Peter Principle.

Ayton can beat his man down the court and post low. We need to pass the ball to the wing for an entry pass and let Ayton blow up other teams. When Shaq was young he was fouling out front lines on teams every game. Then Kobe would just finish them off from the outside in the fourth.

That was when Shaq could not shoot free throws either. Ayton is good at the line.
