I will say this, based on the observations, opinions and research I have seen here this draft is deep in talented players.

This draft, accumulate picks early and use them to move up in subsequent rounds to grab those we want.

I am not sold on any one player. A stud CB, two studs on the OL(guard, center), good blocking TE and a strong RB. While we are at it don’t forget about special teams. Kickers and punters win games as well.

Next year KMs replacement if needed:)
Neither am I.

The roster needs quite a few players.

I’m still hoping that MOJG have done all their homework in regards to Carter. How nice would it be to trade down, grab an ADDITIONAL 4-5 players, and then draft the best player in the draft? And those 4-5 extra picks mitigate the risk involved in taking a guy with questionable character. AND he plays the one position that this coaching staff and roster covets the most. Do I think this will happen? Hell no. It does fly in the face of everything that MOJG have preached about what types of players they want to pursue, but maybe, just maybe, a high character coaching staff can turn a young questionable kid around & motivate him to take a better path? As a great former Cardinal HC once said, “No risk it, no biscuit” lol.
I’m hearing quite a bit of pro Carter chatter. If Anderson is gone Seattle is looking closely at Carter.

I think Seattle goes Carter even if Anderson is there. Seattle has edge players, but they could use another tackle.

A front of Nwosu-DreMont Jones-Carter-Taylor is a pretty good front.

McDonald is a player i really like

ISU used him in a variety of ways (not to his benefit) -- a really good all around edge players

if the Cards go CB in round 1, this is a player i would like to see in round 2

Tom Brady?

Also, Eric Swann was two good knees away from the HOF. ;)
Swann was a physical specimen indeed. Unfortunately, he was never able to keep his emotions intact. Teams definitely goaded him into stupid penalties & cheap shotted him every chance they got.

He had 21 penalties for 175 yards in his entire career...played in 126 games. Maybe you just remember a couple of ill-timed penalties, but he was hardly a penalty issue. He definitely took cheap shots to the knees, throughout his entire career.
