It was pissing me off in the regular season and it hurt us in the playoffs.

This team has to run through Amare a lot more than it does. We can't rely on Steve Nash doing everything.

Barbosa and Bell have to let Amare control the offense when Nash is out and even when Nash is in because a good defensive team with a shotblocker takes away Nash's spot up shooters.

Our inexperience in the halfcourt really hurt us, only Amare, Nash and Thomas could do something that is not enough.

How many pick and rolls did the Suns run tonight? Why don't they ever post up Amare at all? He had great success in the overtimes against Dallas in the 2OT and several other times they've tried it.

Who are we going to pick and roll off? Bowen and Duncan?

The lack of consistent outside shooting killed them in the half court. Barbosa had open looks.

Spurs shut the pick and roll down, that's part of the reasons we had no offense.

Marion, Bell and Barbosa have no basketball IQ first of all, do you ever see them running a simple play? Maybe Barbosa but the rest?

They don't pass in the post well at all, they make dumb decisions everytime they are needed to make a play.

How many times does Raja Bell ignore Amare in the post and then drives to the basket instead which is horrible? Quite often.

No they didn't. The Suns never even tried it. At the end of game 4 the Suns kept running the high pick and roll with Amare and Nash and it worked well. Amare got the ball deep in the paint.

Hey, I hear Van Gundy might be available.

I'd be down with either Brown or Van Gundy. Both guys will bring a different style to the Suns that we haven't seen in loooong time if ever that I recall.

I just think we need a backup point guard and we'll be ok. Barbosa can't play the point at all, and Banks... well we all know about Banks.

With 3 first rounders, the draft should provide plenty of remedy for this team. This team needs not make any wholesale changes to its roster, except for maybe Diaw get traded. Also, D'Antoni needs to go to a nine-man rotation to get more players in there and keep the energy.

Once again, I am very disappointed in the season's outcome

I agree 100%, but it will never happen as long as D'antoni is the coach. The Suns have enough weapons to be a deadly offense, obviously, but their chaotic style will simply fail in a 7 game series against a great defensive team like the Spurs. Every single time.

I agree. We will never beat a team like the Spurs in a 7 game series, or even the Pistons for that matter, running this offense. They have the depth and defensive ability to completely take us out of our game. Once we get in a halfcourt set, we are completely screwed

My sentiment almost exactly!

Will talk more later!

Listen, I hate Stern as much as everybody here, but this loss is on us. Championship teams overcome diversity. We did not. End of story.

I would love to see how Spurs play without either Park or Manu and then you throw in Barry (= Diaw). Until I see that, you can't say that suspension had nothing to do with the outcome.

Of course it had something to do with the outcome. I'm not disputing that. But to just dismiss this series off as the league screwing us would be ignoring some serious issues that need to be addressed.
