Where to begin. You reject evolution but quote science to support your own pet story of anti-scientific origins. Can't pick and choose. Science is unequivocal about both evolution and race--the former is a proven fact and the latter is social and cultural construction rather than a scientific reality.

As to the "why can't we get beyond skin tone," I don't know what to say. Of course it would be nice, but after the events of last week, I respectfully submit that it's time we paid a little attention. It may be uncomfortable, but that's too bad...

BURP.....

amare played well. made a jumpshot, nice assist (off the ground to carmelo), couple ferocious dunks, one traveling violation, and a missed 3. he played about 65% of the game. however, very sloppy play overall, but that's to be expected.

i did notice 2 things: amare stuck around the 3 line a hell of a lot, and joe johnson played in this game...on the same team as amare (both on the 'east' team, apparently amare was 'traded' lol)...and had a couple opportunities to pass it to amare...and he did not...

JJ tried to dunk it once...he was rejected...hard...by the rim...he got the board and tried a 3...brick. lol

also, on a humerous note, barkley spent about 1 minute stuttering through a sentence about how important it was for people to be educated. the ironicalness was disorientating.

I didnt even know JJ was invited.

But the good news - According to my guide, the game will be shown at 11:00. Time to go set the VCR.

LOL, if only you'd included the comma. Great stuff anyway.

Just like the regular season. I noticed last year that JJ would readily pass to Q on the perimeter, rather that Amare inside. I could never tell if that was the way the team preferred the pass be played, to the 3 point shooter, or if it was simply JJ's preference to pass to the outside man.

Well, in what is probably no surprise to anyone Barkley just ripped the suns. Saying nash and amare won't be nearly as effective w/o jj and q on the wings.
Barkley says he always roots for the suns, but it's obvious he always go out of his way to take shots at the suns.

I hope he keeps it up. At the rate Sir Charles is going, the Suns will the surprise team of the year when then win another 60.

I'm not sure why the NBA bothers having a slam dunk contest after this game. In the second half, it looked like no one wanted to anywhere close to anyone making a showboat play. T-Mac hit something like three three pointers from around 35 feet out and was being matched on the other end.

Amare did play a lot, which looked like it might be because he's in better condition than some of the other guys. This may have seemed like a lot of running for a lot of guys, but this was a typical pace for the Suns.

As for JJ playing, he did play reasonably well; but no one seemed to notice he was wearing a Suns jersey.

Typical press, Suns cannot win running, they will fall off the pace later in the season, once playoffs come they will be shut down. This team said all year that they needed to improve defense and rebounding, now they have attempted to address this and people are now saying, they will not win due to the loss of 2 of their running members. Sometimes you cannot win for trying.

Did JJ really, truly wear a Suns jersey? I did not see the game.

It was orange, not red unless my TV is out of whack.

It was a yellow hawks jersey, worn probably not to confuse the fans rooting for the red houston outfits.

Yeah it was a yellow Hawks jersey, which confused the West team because the game was setup to be solid color team jerseys on the west team and white team jerseys on the East (where JJ played).

It's ALWAYS about the winning, or we wouldn't be disappointed with last season's outcome! :D

I don't care if it's just for funzies. I want MY side to win! :D
