any of the dialogue from Van Helsing - should have been a silent movie.

Absolutely!! V.H. walking towards mirror that is really a doorway at the end of the movie. Love interest stops him to tell him, "Be careful." I screamed out loud, "Oh come on. Best you can do." Or something like that.

I'm very dissapointed to hear that. I have it waiting for me to watch at home. Should I? Or should I skip it?

The speech in ID4 didn't bother me so much. Randy Quaid's character removed all pretense of seriousness from that movie.

The cheesiest part of that movie would have to be the "I'm out of missles and I am flying my jet into the alien ship's weapon" sacrifice scene. Complete with the cheesy "Hi boys, I'm back" line by Randy Quaid.

Fun and entertaining movie but very cheesy.

When I first saw the previews of Independence day I thought it was going to be the coolest movie ever. I thought it was going to be a real serious epic movie, at least that's what the previews tried to make it out to be. Then I saw the lineup and I knew it was going to be goofy. Why do directors always feel like the have to break the tension? I think tension is good...

My number 1 Cheesiest moment:

At the end of Starship Troopers:

Doogie Howser (psychically reading the mind of a giant bug): It's AFRAID!!

<cheers>

Kevin Cosner

Swd1974 is right. Every Kevin Cosner movie qualifies and id like to add all Jean Cladue Vandam and Stephen Segal lines ever spoken. Also, from the movie Radio, when Ed Harris’s character says to Cuba’s character "All this time we thought we were teaching Radio, but it was Radio who was really teaching us." The movie was good but that line was the cheesiest.

I'm not saying thatt Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal movies are not cheesy, but a majority of them are stupid, not cheesy. :D

no Shane - that's why the ending was cheesy - because Demi Moore parroted back to Swayze what he had been saying the entire time he was alive. His charatcer was finally able to tell her he "loved her" and being a sassy tart - she threw his own game at him as he went off to heaven - Demi Moore - once a bitch - always a bitch - even in death!
