True and good point. To this day however I still feel the effects of the bs Spurs series when Nash got hipped checked into the 3rd row and our best low post player Stoudemire was suspended by the league.

Also Boris Diaw was suspended at the same time leaving the Suns totally vulnerable in the middle in a game they lost to the Spurs.

unfortunately, right now that’s the safest bet for when he’ll get back. Which is why we MUST win Game 2. Playing at home in high pressure games is probably a little easier than doing the same on the road, especially if you’ve lost HCA.

Without CP3 or Kawhi this is a pick ‘em series. Cant lose HCA with two pretty evenly matched teams.

I agree. This looks to be a home court advantage series and holding serve is a must.

My understanding is that Lakers' fans actively root against the Clippers.

even that gives the Clippers more relevance than they actually have. They’re the red headed stepchild that Laker fans barely acknowledge exist. To actively root against them gives them too much credit.

Try not to stress out guys. Not sure if this may help you but in my mind I am already set on CP3 not coming back for the series. Just focused on moving forward without him. If he does return in the series then thats just icing on the cake.

You would't be saying that if we dropped the first game but regardless I've had the same mindset because of the lack of transparency. He could be at home playing ping pong or bed ridden for all we know because we don't get official news from Paul or Monty but from third parties. I guess that's how covid is handled in the league according to all here and it's completely normal. Let's just hope the Suns pull it off today then we don't have to play "Clue game" with our Suns players.

I would be saying the same thing had we taken a loss for game one. Its a game I have no control over. Can’t stress on the what if just focus on what we have now. If he comes back he comes back.

Its usually let the dice roll for me. Maybe even more now that I spend my time in the cave during games.

Lol...well that's something. He's not in bed! But a big concern with covid is lung function....just saying. Hopefully his vaccination is keeping that in check

Ok fair enough. But usually fans are wanting updates on players injuries/illness...especially in a playoff run. Hard to not think about it.

Yes I am and thats what I do. Don’t knock it cause its working. What I should say is news about CP3 coming out if he plays or not we can’t control. If he is there he is there. I am already looking at him not returning this series.

This is from yesterday afternoon before the report came out that said CP3 is still out. Maybe he is hearing that CP3 is close, but he's had 24 hours to give us an update.

or maybe he just loves the attention considering he’s been wrong more often than not with his cryptic tweets indicating the league might be moving a plum Sunday ABC game or that he would be back by Game 1.

Again saying something might happen and it doesn't is not proof that he was lying or was wrong.
