I don't like when people compare a rookie to a legend. Let's not put any pressure on the guy.

I don't think the "comparison" was one persay, it seemed more of a gut reaction comment than anything else.

I DO hate when they're compared to legends, and dubbed "the next Babe Ruth" or what have you. It puts way too much undue pressure on them, and when they fall short of that level of greatness, it wrongfully puts them as a "failure".

It's not fair or appropriate to compare Chris Young to Willie Mays. I think he has the potential to end up being a great player but this is definitly not the time to start comparisons like that.

Young has 30-30 potential and is more than capable of being a routine All-Star. The best comparison I can think of is Mike Cameron with more power.
